... she has even stated reasons why he won't be awkward since he will be in control (I can't remember who posted this but they said the same thing and I agree).
... This was and always be Richie's gig unless he really doesn't want it but it's quite obvious, IMHO, since pre-show airing that Sam had a plan and so did Ten_Insider and Osher's first tweet about Richie that he would "fit right in". :Nod:

If Sam Frost has anything to do with it, the latest lad to miss out on a rose will be giving out some of his own next year.

Richie Strahan could be Australia’s next Bachelor.

She may have given him the flick on tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette but Sam Frost reveals she has bigger plans for the 30-year-old.

The brunette beauty is gunning for him to follow in her footsteps and become The Bachelor!

“I am going to pull every string I can to make that happen,” she tells TV WEEK.

“I adore him. I honestly think that he is absolutely amazing and he’s just such a good guy.

“He deserves to shine like I’ve never seen, he deserves all the happiness in the world.”

The 26-year-old stunner thinks any of Richie’s awkwardness in front of the camera would melt away next time around.

“I was incredibly awkward on The Bachelor,” she admits.

“I was so awkward, I couldn’t talk about my feelings but then I was The Bachelorette! There in light at the end of the tunnel and I think he’ll be an amazing Bachelor.

“Once you’re in the situation where you can control it you open up and all of a sudden you’ve got a whole team supporting you. Richie would be amazing!”

So what does Richie have to say about the proposal?

“It would be a really huge decision,” he begins.

“It was a really big thing for me to put out there and put my heart on the line to go through this thing with Sam. It is pretty full on so I don’t know what to say.

“So much stuff doesn’t make it to TV and looking back I wish I knew that and relaxed a lot more.”

While he wouldn’t confirm nor deny, Richie will say he’s “not seeing anyone!”

“I don’t go out lots I’m not the clubbing kind of guy,” the rope access technician says.

“It’s hard for me to meet someone doing what I do.”

I have been #teamrichie all along but given how open Sasha and Michael were on their dares and how Richie was so guarded and careful with his emotions I can understand why she let him go. I wish Ricie had been able to find a way but he's obviously still very hurt by past broken heart that he is too fragile and scared right now. I get that. I just wish for him it was different. Sam is right he is a beautiful soul

Just to reminisce... this was Richie night one out the limo... Happy and just so genuine and sweet and adorkable.

And we've watched him fall for Sam and get more and more vulnerable.

I can't imagine what he is going to feel when he is heartbroken tonight.

He will probably say the nicest and kindest things about Sam, based on who he is as a person.

He did not go to places for the paps
as mentioned before, he could hardly stayed hidden at home for 4 months
tifany is to buy a gift for the 41th marriage mum and dad anniversary december 2
the only pics we see are diner with dad, airport with sis and gym
he visibly love his family with reasons IMO and is proud to share moments with his fans (because yes, he has lot of fans indeed even if some comment are not coming from fans but {#}teamrichie{/#} and {#}teamsasha{/#} .... which happens sadly each season)
oh yes... one pic with sam the bachelor at a charity kind event
he knows paps are crazies and he cannot control them if he goes buying nappies

again, it is not as if he is paying all those sharks to make up crazy stories
the hi-5 was out of proportion based on an "inside information" and it turned he never met her
the olympic was out of proportion and if people are truly after the truth, they only have to google and they will find tons of pics and he said many times his training involvement ... again rats after a bone

anyway... he is not a saint but i do not think to say that everything is calculated is a bit excessive IMO. In his shoes, I would also try to have a good public image and I would avoid being seen going out of a club at all cost if I was F1... but like michael, sasha has a life after the show.

and I will add this.... if he was SO concerned about his image, being a calculated man he sure is, why not deleting the pics BEFORE the show but did right after the finale IN JULY?

He did delete them before the show and it is the show that is on TV that is what people start cleaning up their SM for when they realize they will be on TV. It's not the finale of filming. No one knew the finale date or that Michael was F2 in July or even in August or September. The finale date and Michael's likely F2 status was sleuthed long afterwards in September.

I happened to follow him when no one was following anyone and I was the only one in the threads posting months before the show aired on TV. And he started deleting pics because of what the comments were on his IG. They were all negative and this was before he was even known to be on the show as no promo videos had been out yet at all. So it was only after he was getting negative comments that he deleted 100s of pics.

Again, it doesn't make him a bad person... it just indicates, as a non-F1, that he was image cleaning before the show aired and still is doing so.

Aussie media at the end of the day can be really brutal. Michael is posting photos of himself that paparazzi take of him and going to places where he can get shots of himself from paparazzi. The media and people were brutal to Sam and she never even posted paparazzi photos of herself but was still called fame-w***e and the media blasted her. So image cleaning is important in Australia because the tall poppy syndrome will always want to bring people down.

In Michael's case, unfortunately he is not helping himself IMO by posting the paparazzi photos of himself on his IG. It just shows that he follows the media and is image conscious. And his IG is tame compared to his Facebook account. It is overflowing with posts about himself. This is not a good PR move because based on what I have seen with Aussie media and viewers, they quickly turn on people who promote themselves too much. Call it Tall Poppy Syndrome or what have you, but if Michael wants to have a clean image, IMO, less is more and him posting less will benefit him more in the long run.
