that's your opinion. And Ben has also kissed Ash, but they didn't show it to us for a reason. My personal opinion is because they know that they are overloading the audience with Bentley, and they just want us to concentrate on her connection with JP, as they are going to be the 2 main factors in Ashley's choice at the FRC. I think if they wanted Ashley to have this great connection with Ben on that group date, they would have left out all the steamy stuff with JP.

When you look at how hard and fast she fell for Bentley, I don't think she's going to deviate much from that "pattern" if she's going to fall again. JP is the only one that seems to fit that category, as she has no problem with the physical stuff with JP, that comes natural, plus they have some good conversation. Also, the physical edit for a guy and for a girl are different. A guy can have a physical reaction to a girl and not feel like he needs to commit emotionally but girls aren't like that so much. A physical commitment is more binding for us. So I don't think that comparing Chantal to JP is an accurate comparison. If he's going to be compared to anybody, if you think he's F2, is maybe Kypton..... Jilly loved kissing him but that was it and she was all over Ed and even spent the night with him.... talking (ya right) We need to watch how she reacts physically around the guys, but I think we're going to see her be more doe eyed with JP than she will be with Ben.

NV, you make some very good points. I also want to point out that starting with next weeks episode, JP will be a little "less obvious". I didn't see him, at all, in the preview. IMO, this shows that they are letting him lay low for now, show another relationship that can build to be somewhat plausible and so that their will be a "choice" at the end. I think it is key that Ben F's interactions are only now being shown. I think if they (the interactions) are integral to the storyline, TPTB would have put them in. I think that for the next 2 episodes, we will see very little of JP and Ben will be highlighted.

You are so sweet nutty! I have not been able to watch last night's show yet but enjoyed reading comments of those that did watch it. It does not sound like it was that thrilling of a show. scratch

A nice glass of wine will help you get through it, BlondieGal! :giggle:

I don't think she's referring to Ben when talking about the slow burn..... I guess cuz I'm not seeing any real "sparks" with anybody but JP.

She didn't mention JP at all in this blog, only referenced him in the group of guys who were forever changed by the work they did at the orphanage. She only named the guys she gave roses to, which are her other 3 guys from the final 4 (it's about time she mentioned the other guys she's supposed to have deep feelings for) :gotcha:

The blog is seriously lacking. Appears as if an entire center section is missing. Absolutely no transition to the end statement and comments missing about other men who were shown with her on that episode. Fingerprints of ABC editing all over it.

Reading it again...I agree.

I thought I would finally be able to watch an episode without hearing the name Bentley, but was I wrong. I caught myself cringing each time his name was mentioned.

I look back at the beginning of this week in Phuket, and remember how I was still thinking about his departure. However, at the end of this week, I found myself being able to see the difference between real, genuine relationships and the one I had with Bentley.

When I first met Constantine, I was blown away: he was exactly the type of man I was looking for, and the floss on my finger was a standout moment for me the first night. I was ready for this date with him.

I was so excited to take him out on the water and hopefully bring out the romance. Unfortunately, the rain had other plans.

Even though it rained, we made the best of the date and it turned out to be filled with less extravagance and more good conversation. In turn, I think our connection grew to a stronger level because of this.

By far, my favorite group date was at the Baan San Fan Orphanage. The guys took this very seriously, and many of them expressed how it changed their lives. To know that I took part in organizing something that would improve the lives of both the children and these men makes me feel absolutely incredible.

At this point, I started to see the guys in a completely different light, especially Ben F. He took it upon himself to paint a mural for the children and was a standout guy in terms of interacting with the children. It really melted my heart, and I feel like this helped solidify my feelings for him.

Going into my date with Ames, I didn’t know what to expect.

I got the feeling that he was ultraconservative around me, and I wanted to loosen him up a bit by taking him away from the guys. I was so surprised by his intelligent humor and good heart! I totally saw a new side to Ames on this date and knew I wanted to get to know him better. Even though I was not convinced of a romantic connection with him just yet, I saw too much good in him to not further explore what could be.

I will never be able to accurately describe the serenity in the air while kayaking through the canyons; it was like nothing I had ever seen before. There was something about the calmness of the water and the light peering through the canyon that made silence comfortable. I loved Phuket and all its natural beauty.

Looking back at this week, the most important lesson I took away is that the best type of love starts off with a slow burn, and eventually turns into something much brighter than a spark ever could.

Wow. This screams "I chose Ben F."

Yeah. I guess she could hire a sky-writer to make it more clear, but it's not necessary. She opened her eyes to Ben (as a relationship partner) this episode and the slow burn began. Wow. JP started with a spark, not as bright as Bentley but a spark nonetheless and heavy on the physical part, and his competitive impatience will cause it to fizzle too soon.

Totally, as of last week (without seeing any Ash/Ben F interactions) I'm almost certain she doesn't pick JP!

I see the slow burn being Ben F. at this point. It feels like the spark is with JP, a spark that ignited a wildfire. :awesome:

Questions...was Ashley's whole blog posted? Did Brad ever have a week that he did not mention Emily?
