I agree with BarbB. I love have articulate and wellspoken he is. I love the way he forms his words. I like to hear him talk.

I apologize if this was already discussed, but....

Has it been speculated that Brooks leaves the journey at some point, and comes back.....a 'la Ed Swiderski-style? Is that why we haven't seen any Brooks Antigua SCs?

There has been quite a bit speculation that that happen actually. My personal belief is that that is not what happened based on the caps we have of a tanner Brooks.

I agree. I really don't think Brooks is going to leave and then come back at this point. One i don't think he wants to, and two there just doesn't seem like there would be any time for that to happen.....I mean next week he is there for the Spain stuff, then the following week is the next 1/1 (FINALLY, Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and then it's HTD. He'd have to go to Antigua, leave, then come back to Antigua in time to beg Des to let him back in and convince her to keep him into the FRC. With all the sources claiming this thing was obvious from the start and ended as they epxected, I don't think something as crazy as this happened as that would have thrown it all up in the air and the ending wouldn't have been as "yup he was obviously her top pick." I don't doubt that there will be some hurdles to overcome in getting to the FRC (there always is) and the producers will make sure to showcase whatever drama/doubt they can but I believe it all happens within the process and no "in-out-back in" business. I do remember one preview where I Brooks is shown in an interview having some sort of emotional breakdown and maybe that has to do with something that happens btw him/Des or his/her family that causes him to question his place in Des life. If I remember correctly, a lot of the editing for F1 MTP make it seem like the family doesn't approve of the F1 and you think the eventual F2 then has it in the bag. Wow this got a little long lol

Not that I can tell. One that comes back is James, but in the same episode.

This! Me too. He is the whole package to me. I get so tired of all the "I don't think Brooks likes girls" BS I read just because he is softer spoken and not all in your face "me man, ARRRGGH." The passion the erupts btw him and Des when they are together speaks for itself.
