I can't imagine they expected the premiere to do as well as last year's, I think they're hoping for a fairytale more than anything.

I think there was more excitement for Juanuary to start and that this premiere reaped what JuanPa sowed. The proof will more be what happens to ratings as the weeks progress.

I think the point is that was so little excitement about Prince Farming that they were desperate and brought out everyone they could, to the red carpet, to get more eyes on the show. they knew. They were panicked. They were desperate. They reaped what they sowed by casting him. I'll never understand why. epic fail.

RS tweeted about the press release for next week. So, people still sleuthing can use that.
I guess that means everyone gets to be on a date. Am I wrong that there is usually two one on one dates in the first episode? Seems there is only one.

I doubt that there would have been any difference between Chris and Arie. There was serious competition with Celebrity Apprentice showing 2 episodes in the early part of the series as evidenced by the final hour increase to 2.4 after the Apprentice was over.
Many people like Chris. Twitter was filled with pro-Chris comments last night.
I personally did not care for Arie but I would not bash him if he had been chosen, especially before the season has ever really gotten going. I think Chris deserves a chance.
