Ryan's DOB: Oct 24th, 1985. (from his personal FB acc)
Jess' : (I believe) Jun 30th, 1984. (she's Cancer sign so I searched her FB status around June-July stating that and there's one made on June 27th saying "birthday in 3 days")

Thanks Clawsteph, so that make him a Scorpio and she's a Cancer.  Both are water signs so they get each other rather quickly,
