First let me say how great this site has been and the people here. I have laughed so much reading so many wonderful and funny posts. Love_Me and San, you guys are the best!

I am very happy that Ashley finally got her happy ending, but I can't help but feel sadness for Ben. It seems like he may be doing better at this moment, but I think this was a great hurt for him that may last a very long time. I think he may have a very hard time trusting another woman. As much as I would love to see Ben as the next bachelor, I really don't think he'll be ready to open his heart up again by mid to late September when filming begins. I think he should really focus on his business, family and friends and do some healing.

Next Monday's show will be really sad for me. To me Ashley's happiness will be overshadowed by the hurt that I will be feeling for Ben. Life goes on.....

Oh well on to August 8th and some Jake and Vienna drama on the Bachelor Pad.

.I just want to quickly shout out my love and appreciation for all of the people who were involved in sleuthing and posting this season, with special thanks to San and Love_me for this wonderful site!

Also, a big welcome to all of the new posters!

Here are my thoughts, for what they're worth (not much ):


I think the following facts may help to assuage some of the anger that may be directed towards TPTB/Ash next week:

1. These spoilers are going to spread all over the internet, so people will know what to expect.
2. RS is going to post the same thing tomorrow, so even more people will know.
3. ABC has even released a new promo showing both guys proposing.
4. The JPash love story has been so real from the very beginning.
5. The ATFR will show that everyone is fine and has moved on.

So while I think people will be upset, I don't think it will be anything near what the Deanna/Jason debacle was. .

Bottom line, the backlash will be pretty swift as well. The fact that it was done once before is bad enough..........now it is done again. And to make it worse, it seems like no effort was made to stop it. That is the very sad part for the F2........it is bad enough to be rejected, then to get down on your knees to propose to someone you love, just to end up being rejected. Not good. No matter who the final 2 is, proposing to someone is a special thing that usually only comes once for you.........now for that joy and one time thing to be "wasted" on someone that doesn't feel the same way and that person could of stopped him from being in that position to begin with, just isn't fair.........not much respect shown there.
