If not only because he might be scripted to be.

I don't really see him as a match for Caila. I could see him with JoJo, but I'd be shocked if he's in any way ready for marriage. I know most of these guys aren't, but I like to believe the final ones are / and the next bachelor at least somewhat.

I don't think he was cast for Caila. IMO - meet Bachelor 21.

It's really about the smallest leap ever, IMO, to get to why he's there and what will happen - a great edit, a HTD, and F3 finish and next Bachelor if he wants it.  I just hope Caila can find a way to be natural around him if they don't hit it off or really connect because I suspect she will have not say in how long he's there regardless of their chemistry or attraction to each other. 

For me TPTB's marketing strategy really worked because I got about 99% more invested in next season after that US story.  So thanks for that TPTB.

I'm not sure if he's there because they want him as the Bachelor, but it's possible I guess. In the video I posted of him imitating his brother, he comes off quite wild to me. At this point, his edit could be anything ("villain" "wild & crazy" "sweet & funny" or "total package/next Bachelor" etc. ) and we won't know until later...I thought Olivia would make it far when she was first released, either win or be Bachelorette...and her edit was quite the opposite.

Based off what I know of Jordan, I think he's a big goofball so I could see him being the jokester of the season. I think he's also trying to get into Hollywood whether as an actor or sports broadcaster so that might be his motive. Not entirely sure that they have him in mind as the next Bachelor.

With that said, I know they've tried in the past to get a big name athlete as the lead before. They asked Ryan Braun (Milwaukee Brewers outfielder) several years ago and he turned them down. If you can't get a big name athlete, getting his younger brother that looks like him isn't a bad replacement.

True, he may have other motivations for being on the show himself, despite what TPTB might want.  Personally though, I would be shocked if he didn't have some arrangement prior to being cast of receiving a very favorable edit. Or it's already an unwritten decision by TPTB.   IMO, ABC is not going to give Aaron Rodger's bro a villainous edit or portray him in a poor light.  They want him as major publicity for this season and I expect he's in it for the long haul with a great edit.  JMO.

Ok, I'm an Aaron Rodgers fan girl/ huge GB Packer fan. Could really care less about Jordan's trajectory at this point- I just want to see Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn on that HTD! Packers/Bachelor crossover- two of my favorite things! Sign me up! Lol

Disclaimer: I know Aaron Rodgers is intensely private, so he might opt out of a potential HTD, but I hope not!!

^^Plus, wouldn't filming take place during the football season? I doubt Aaron and the GB coaches would want that as a distraction...not to mention the HTD should likely take place in Chico...far from GB. That said, as a Bears fan we could use a little, meaning a lot of, help.
