The Bachelor NZ's Kate: Naz and Claudia stand out for the wrong reasons

The Bachelor NZ's Kate Cameron made quite an impression on this year's bachelor Jordan Mauger during her first single date on Monday night.

"I loved watching my horse riding date with Jordan and the marshmallow incident," Cameron said.

"It was great being able to have a laugh at myself. I am being portrayed as me which is a relief."

Kate Cameron thinks her roommates Naz and Claudia stand out for "all the wrong reasons".

"I have a great career, loving family and friends but the one thing missing is Mr Right and what an opportunity to dedicate one hundred per cent of my time to focus on finding him," she said.

Cameron made headlines shortly after the show's debut, after it was revealed that the bachelorette had previously been employed by MediaWorks radio.

According to Cameron's LinkedIn page, the season two bachelorette worked as a senior account manager for the media company.

"As long as the prospective Bachelorette isn't currently employed by MediaWorks or Warner Bros they can apply as per the application form this season," a TV3 spokesperson said at the time.

During season one of the reality show, MediaWorks faced a public backlash after it was revealed that contestant Matilda Rice was a long-time employee of TV3, working as a media buyer for the network.

Cameron said that during the reality show's gruelling filming schedule, being away from family and friends was "extremely challenging".

The 28-year-old said that of all her roommates, the two who stood out the most were bachelorettes Naz and Claudia.

"For the wrong reasons unfortunately," she said. "Do I need to say more?"

I don't think Kate is really into Jordan.  In the last episode she said her single date was enough time with Jordan and she didn't need to speak to him at the cocktail party. I think she'll keep accepting roses to stay on the show for the travel/vacation/experience JMO

I think we should speculate the F6 in the episode thread again. I have Kate, Erin, Lara and Nicole in my non-F6 list just as u said they are that interested in Jordan or they get the vibe Jordan is not that into them & they are just going along with the program till they are sent home, JMO.
