Yes! I immediately thought of that too. Laguna beach set expectations so high for promposals. This kid did a good job with all of those candles.

I didn't see the big deal. That teenager went to town setting that up it looks like. Most grown men wouldn't be romantic like that most importantly, the two teens involved got super happy that JoJo favorited it. His girlfriend is clearly a fan of JoJo. She unfavorited it today after 2-3 crazy people kept tweeting her, RS, Ben and Lauren about it.

I think it was a bit hmmm for JoJo favouriting it, tbh. A tweet saying that JoJo should've 'won'. But fans making it a huge issue is just not necessary.

I don't see it at all comparable to Ben replying to Chad's swipe at him.

I see it as JoJo being sweet to a teenage fan. The girl was probably super excited that JoJo liked her moment. Maybe it would have been better if she liked and said she did win she got her own show

So is it equally rude that Ben and Lauren are leaking a summer tv wedding special when it is supposed to be JoJo's moment to shine? They can't even stand to let her have the spotlight and glory of her premiere? Yeah, I find them about equal IMO.

JoJo, you want to show your fan support? Do it and ignore the SM trolls. Personally, I think JoJo was the winner.

JoJo's season hasn't started yet. THIS was the moment for Ben and Lauren to leak their wedding info in order not to take away from JoJo and her moment to shine. Had they leaked it JoJo's premiere night, that would've been tacky.

JoJo should've replied to the fan something like 'Thanks for the love, but Lauren is it for Ben, and I'll 'win' my own love story'. JoJo messed up a bit favouriting a tweet about her and Ben, and this is not her first rodeo, she knows from last season all about how to use social media. Jmo.

I don't see the big hoopla about the tweets. She was IMO obviously favoriting them because of the pictures and not the words. Either way, the "fans" bugged her into unfavoriting them, so it's all moot anyway. JMO.

Whereas I see her favoriting that tweet being about being nice to teenage fans and not about Lauren and Ben at all. If she would have commented at all I would go with her being the winner for having her own season. JMO.

And the week before her premiere is her time. They could have leaked their wedding two weeks ago while she was still filming, doing it now is stealing the spotlight while the press is gearing up for JoJo. I don't actually care, just think their actions are as imperfect as hers were. Again JMO.

But I am not a Ben and Lauren fan and am really excited for JoJo's season. So I would prefer they enjoy their quiet and happy settled Colorado life and let JoJo and her men have the spotlight right now. But to each their own.

IMO it's still tacky from JoJo. The words literally were that JoJo should've won, which is just very rude to Lauren, who's JoJo's friend.

Unfortunately there will be overlapping from previous season to the next, and the attention doesn't just completely go away from the couple from season before. JoJo will have her moment to shine, and it's her choice what her story will be about, how much BenLo will be mentioned. One of her guys already used Ben as his go to line, so that might suggest that he will be mentioned a bit. Jmo.

^^ Ben might want to stay away from this season, or atleast the first episode. The guys "shade" him at least 3 times according to the episode 1 spoliers. 

I agree that these seasons overlap, so I don't see the big deal in releasing the wedding rumors now. It IS before JoJo's season starts anyway. I just hope the wedding doesn't film/air until AFTER her season airs. Let that happen in August when BIP starts. That's still summer anyway. Plus, it would be kinda weird to have it happen during JoJo's season, especially when the tabloids are gonna pick up those rumors again. IMO.
