-- this after she was accused of racism and he lost his job for defending her.

He was defending her because he knew Matt wanted Rachel but Matt was stuck in a situation between backlash and choosing Rachel. Imo he was the mouthpiece and was suppose to calm the waters for the new couple but it backfired.

A poster on Reddit said the network/franchise is seeing a shift in advertising dollars towards digital media. CH's large salary was cutting into their profits. They were looking for a way to replace him. His interview with Rachel was their opportunity. The franchise probably pays former leads under 100K compared to CH millions JMO

Oh wow CH deleted all his Instragram posts. The post with Lauren is his first. He's put the bachelor franchise behind him and moving on to the "next chapter" It will be interesting to see what business opportunities/projects/ventures he decides to become a part of JMO

Congrats to both of them!

I'm sure he's done a lot of reflection and whatever that outcome may be they look incredibly happy. I didn't expect an engagement, I thought they'd continue doing what they are doing for a while. I look forward to hearing more from him about the engagement, only because I'm curious to see what he's been thinking.

I know what it feels like to go through a job loss (although not my fault) emotionally and mentally it's difficult. She obviously makes him happy so it's all good imo.

I'm happy for them. They seem to be a good match.
