Sometimes I have days like this:

Oh my. Life shouldn't be that rough at that age. 

My 2 yr old grandson has been raised from his first breath on FaceTime.(on the phone and the iPad). I do FaceTime with him easily 4+ times a day. He does it on his own on either iPad or phone or both simultaneously.
This morning:
Josh: Talk to Pop.
Me: He isn't here. 
Josh: Office?
Me: no.
Josh: Typing?(he means on the computer)
Me: no.
Josh: outside?
Me: no. He is still sleeping. I told you this already. He is in bed still.
Josh. Ok. Call back later. (Disconnect)
maybe thirty seconds go by and repeat the above two more times. 
Then he tries on Pop's phone twice.
I text my daughter: We need to do an intervention with Josh immediately.

amazing! I was dumbfounded when my son stuck a VCR tape and started watching a movie when he was 4 yrs old (long time ago)

Kids are amazing at technology these days!

For those romantics:

This is a bit OT. It's an adult son who is reaching out to his dad who has alzheimer's with nostalgic music. If you watch the entire 3 minutes you can get glimpses of the dad's cognition when he is not singing.
Music --it's wonderful.

My grandson calls his Grandpa "Pop". He calls this Garbageman Pop because he thinks they look alike. Garbageman Pop got a time out tonight. Wonder what he did. Poor GMP.
