Rutgers is a popular NJ college. Soccer is very big here and 3 of the women were from Rutgers.

I have a few friends who are alumni from Rutgers, isn't it the big state university of NJ and now part of the Big 10 conference?

Showing off the Royal Canadian Henley which is 20 minutes from me and is holding the rowing competition for the Pan Am Games. You can't see much in the link but it's a really beautiful area.

It was a busy morning at the Royal Canadian Henley Rowing Course with four finals and four medals for Canada – including two gold – all before 10:15 am!

Swimming trials have just started. Men's gymnastics already have their final 5.

I work for the USOC in Olympic City, USA so the excitement is definitely up a notch here in town. My NGB has their 6 member Olympic team named but I'm excited for everything else. I've been glued to my tv all week and will going forward with swimming and track this week.

I am - watched diving and swimming today and now the women's gymnastics are on.

I'm looking forward to it as always. This year I'm mostly hearing about the Zika virus which does cast a pall over the Olympics, imo. I'm thinking it should settle down once things get under way.
