In the past 5 out of 7 Bachelor/Bachelorette seasons the F3 has been the lead. If Eric is F3 like the spoilers are predicting the odds are definitely in his favor JMO

Since the speculated F2 and speculated Bachelor is off to LA to promote his business, for me it's another comparison to Luke IMO. CH doesn't like guys who aren't there for the right reasons.

Eric would be a pleasant surprise. I think he is genuine, no fakery. He is what you see is what you get kinda guy!

I think Rachel and Eric looked really cute together...next to Bryan I enjoyed watching their date the most.

I think a season of Eric as the Bachelor would be incredibly entertaining! I would love to see Eric as Bachelor. Just as long as they don't bring in a white racist chick or someone like Corinne!!!

Sadly I would count on that or something similar no matter who the bachelor is.

I totally agree, @sfrank ! That was really one of my favorite dates ever on the Bachelor/ette! So much positive energy and laughter! Would love to see them together in the end!

I would really love for Eric to get the gig...what a fun refreshing season it will be..IMO

I like Eric and would watch but not sure they'll do another lead of color back to back. JMO, not something I'm in favor of.

I see no reason why they wouldn't esp given how successful it's been bringing Rachel on. IMO bringing a poc for the bachelor esp a black man would be a very strong statement esp an emotionally intelligent, fun, sweet and thoughtful guy like Eric. I also think they're chance of having a poc for tb is very limited if they don't take advantage of this possibility now.

Imo I can see Eric having broad appeal given how versatile his personality is - high energy, introspective and thoughtful, sweet, neurotic, perceptive etc.

I also have a hard time finding other strong contenders from Rachel's guys - I think Matt and Adam are actually fantastic guys from looking into their background recently. But they're both soo hopelessly invisible in this edit. So then it'd be ....
Dean who's out of contention since he's dating Kristina.
Bryan who's not very popular with the public.
Peter who's a real contender but is seriously ramping up his business and seems more focused on it than future engagements with tptb.
Eric who I think has the availability and potentially appeal after we're starting to see his journey of love.
Other guys would be - Ben Z who is the Sean or Brad type of guy, what's his name the sweet guy from Jojo's season that didn't get along with the other guys, Chase. They're all very "vanilla" imo.

I would love either Eric or Alex. In fact, I would love a dual season., not a vote off either, but a season of both together.
