Only someone like JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers would consider their half a mill home surrounded by million dollar homes the "starter home."

That's why I find them unrelatable.

Well, I for one find them as a couple relatable. There is nothing wrong in wanting to maintain the same standard of living you've grown up with (once it's within your means) or it even obtain a higher standard. I particularly relate to Jordan in this regard. He grew up in 13 different houses before his family was able to afford to purchase one of their own. So he has observed throughout the course of his life, the sacrifices his parents made to get where they are today. And so, he as a man, also wants to work hard to provide the quality of life he would like and what his fiancé is accustomed to. That is very commendable, IMO.

^ It's only 2 bedrooms though. If/when they have kids (they apparently want 3 of them), they'd need more room. Plus, if they want to continue to keep an office/guest room for when Jordan's family come into town.

He does. The guest room closest! And the guest room bed that has storage underneath it

That's just the way it goes. Smaller, two bedroom houses in nice areas in major cities are going to be expensive even if they're small.

I personally don't think it makes them unrelatable to want a larger home with 3 or more bedrooms if they're planning for the future. They need a bedroom. Jordan wants an office. They want a guest bedroom for their family and friends that are from out of town. They would probably want another bedroom for what could potentially come down the line. I get it. Kaitlyn and Shawn just kind of did the same thing.

Wait?! They just moved and bought a new house ?

@lovebites8727 no, the current house they're living in is up for sale. We're just speculating that they will most likely be moving either before or when their lease is up - supposedly the lease is up either in August or October.

They've both stated they love the house they're in, but eventually they would need more room. It was a starter house for them, so we're thinking at some point they will either buy or rent a larger house.

Of course they want more space eventually, not faulting them for that.

I still think a 498K house (2 bedroom or not) as the tiny little starter home ... yeah... I can't relate. And that's ok. It's JMO.

At least they are still together . Who have thought that?. Good for them. Thanks for the response ash.

But since that poor dead horsey has been beaten repeatedly on the topic, they didn't pay 498K for it, they're renting it.

The house is small, I think the price is more about the neighbourhood, they don't even own it, they're renting, and the rent that's been reported really isn't that steep compared to what I imagine they're making. Idk maybe it's because where I live is freaking expensive, I'm just not seeing anything unrelatable about it considering they're leasing. Jmo.
