Rachel's birthday was April 21st. Guess when Peter's HTD was? April 22nd. The ring could've been an "I love you" and a "Happy Birthday!"

Some people worried the early HTD meant he would be going home early but maybe Rachel just wanted to have a mini bday celebration with her man!

Plus they celebrated his bday together so only make sense to celebrate hers together too. They're sooo cute together, I love who Rach is with Peter, he's just incredible himself, and I cannot wait to see their relationship develop. Just imagine the proposal that's coming!!! Ohh goodness.

Not at all surprised to read about what Peter did for that man during the 1-on-1.

The deleted scene is adorable, and I'm sure there are a bunch of scenes like that we didn't get to see because of time, storyline, and pacing purposes. Maybe I missed it but we didn't get to see the two of them couple dancing during the actual episode as we did in that news broadcast preview right? I think the scene of Peter working Rachel's arm around his neck would have helped lay rest to any doubt about his interest. But again, the producers have a season-long story to tell.

@TLTF I can't be the only one who feels like I'm watching a Hollywood, fantasy romance develop in real time! That kiss as soon as the beat drop was swoon worthy.

No girl! Your not alone at all. I feel like I'm watching a romantic comedy (yes Copper and the bark fest added the comedy bit )

So far they are really getting that edit. The sweetness of their meeting after the limo exit, the chocolate snafu, the shooting star, the cute pet co-star, the romantic dinner, then the romance novel cover shot of them in silhouette kissing with the fireworks going in the background. Even their screen personas when they are together fit that edit. Peter as the strong, silent, but gentle leading man and Rachel as the strong, but soft with him, leading lady.

@Limoncello a close relative of mine is a Pisces too and let me tell you I see a lot of similarities between her and some of the comments about on-screen Peter. She very much likes to keep her own counsel and people often say that they don't know what is going on inside her head, you never really know how she is feeling, etc. etc. But boy is she an incredibly loving person and one of THE kindest people you will ever meet. Just like a Pisces.

If there's anyone ahead of Dean at the moment, it's Peter. Peter is a white man who will never put Rachel in a situation where her hair may get unexpectedly wet. Peter won't blink twice at a night bonnet. Peter just knows that these are Black Girl quirks necessary for Black Girl Magic. Peter, with his perfect smile and perfect gapped teeth, probably claps back at his racist relatives at Thanksgiving. Peter gets it.

I think you mean the MTP date.  He's wearing the grey shirt he wears on his first 1 on 1 on his hometown date.
