A couple of hours after Monica was found here, they suddenly have an article about the "rumours" that she's on the show, and their big piece of evidence is that she made her Instagram private (not that they have a source, like they said with the other girls)? Seems a little too much of a coincidence to me that they just happened to hear rumours about her being a contestant right after she was posted here IMO... Rolling Eyes

the DM gets info from the forum each year and have since Blake's season when IIRC @Sundy and/or others sleuthed before the finale that Sam Frost was the F1 due to her nail polish matching and DM copied the exact same cropped pics used to sleuth on this forum.

Sometimes other sites use this forum and give credit and or stated that "fans" on a site have discovered info. Last year's examples were the first kiss music for F1 (which Mamamia site and DM used the info sleuthed on the forum) and also RC color patterns for F3-F4 (those changed last year with G's season) which DM site also copied.

So yes, this forum is used to gain info from which is why in particular it's always important to state IMO when something isn't known to be fact or there's no evidence for what is sleuthed, otherwise it gets lifted from here and the media can run with it as if it's fact when it may just be opinion.
