We're only 1 WEEK away from #PyeongChang2018 Opening Ceremony where Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir will lead into the Olympic Winter Games— Team Canada (@TeamCanada) February 2, 2018

The lengths athletes will go, often with their country's direct or indirect support, to win a competition seems to diminish the intent of the games. If all the effort put into beating drug testing was redirected toward helping more people become physically active and participating in sport, wouldn't the world be better?
Been watching this crap show like forever

I'm an Olympic fanatic and look forward to watching all the backstories and the determination from all the athletes. Our coverage is phenomenal. They'll have taped a large amount of filming prior to, of the athletes from all over our country.
What apps do you offer? Where can I find the CBC apps?
Available coverage. Go to the link for the list of SM, and ways to watch.
I'm not being biased, but this is the best coverage ever IMHO! I love CBC not only for their excellent coverage, but their total unbiased programs. We get to see many different countries competing, not just Canadians. 18 hours a day!!!
Each day, CBC will broadcast 18 hours of live coverage and 21 hours of Olympic Winter Games programming overall
cbc.ca/olympics and the CBC Olympics app will offer free live-streaming and on-demand coverage from every event
The CBC Olympics VR app, presented by Samsung, will provide immersive virtual reality live-streams of select events

I am very disheartens by the IOC’s response to the Russian doping. But Thomas Bach doesn’t have a backbone so I really shouldn’t be.

The whole doping issue with any athletics is so very sad along with the entire opioid situation that society is facing.
Good friends/neighbors just lost their 34 yr old son last fall in response to past steroid usage for body building and its effect on his heart. Very sad.
My doctor asked me: "Does anyone in your family suffer from mental illness?" My answer:"No they all enjoy it immensely."
No good deed goes unpunished.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, bye Felicia!

When I heard the reversal of the doping situation, it really annoyed me. Totally not fair. But like I say, I try to keep the negative out of it. There are so many great stories to be told like the first Jamaican women bobsled team and so many more.
We need an Olympic smile!
