I am so thrilled to hear of Nick's upcoming roles. My he has been a busy man, it seemed like 5 minutes ago I was watching him on Andis season.... Oh wait I WAS just watching him on Andis season, they re ran it this month here.  I just watched ep 10 on my tv, and I do not know why I torture myself. Whyyhh.
No matter how long since this happened I keep hoping it ended differently, like I could re write history. the smiles and high hopes, the chemistry, the Belgium night, the beach, kill me now.
But the good part of watching this again I saw exactly why I fell for Nick in the first place, that is banked, solid, never wavering. Noting all the qualities of beautiful Nick  i see a wonderful romantic, intelligent, nerdish, quirky, handsome, verbalises emotions, sensitive, kind, assertive, articulate, respectful, quick witted, fashionable, adventurous, persistent, rebellious, scarved,  pastel shorted,  hot tuxedo miracle,  sexy leather jacketed beautiful man. Eyes to die for.
Sweet Dreams are made of these. Fools are those who would not want to husband his azz off.
I would!  

I do think Nick's time will come and it will have been worth the wait.
He has said he is inspired by his parents' marriage. Not much is known about them other than he does appear to be his mother's son, a generous soul but a bit of a worry wart (a little flaw but lessened in the presence of the right match). The right match is his father, a soft spoken kind of strong who often has been seen with his arm around Mary as a silent source of comfort and in Nick's season Chris was the gentle questioner and unintrusive wisdom sayer.  IMO, this is the definition of the "strong" trait that a special woman will bring into a relationship with Nick that will provide the right flow to create a lifelong reciprocal partnership.
I also think Nick greatly admires Sharleen&Andy's relationship (based on his lovely IG post of their wedding). Nick does have many female friends/acquaintances however many of those females have referred to him as a big brother figure, someone who advises them. With Sharleen, it seems she is his confidant and his future loved one will, no doubt, possess Sharleen's "special panda" traits so as to be Nick's go to confidant - traits like tolerant, patient, open-minded, empathetic, loyal, pragmatic, self-reflective, and kind. I do think Sharleen and Nick are similiar in many important ways and interestingly Sharleen has said that she and her hubby are very similiar which she then said has made their growing relationship a relationship of ease because they inherently understand each other. This cerebral windfall is something Nick can also experience in the future with someone who mirrors the best sameness.  
Another model for Nick is his BFF Kyle. His lovely girlfriend Martha just celebrated her birthday by spending the day working at a soup kitchen. How precious is she It was Kyle and Martha, plus Ashley I, that helped Nick celebrate his own birthday at a sports bar with a few beers and his beloved Packers playing on screen. I mention them because they just traveled from LA to PEI Canada in a camper to visit her parents and in the past often post IG vid of making pies and gardening together. Simple acts of love shared. They both work in entertainment but defy the stereotype of glitz and glam - quite the opposite although Martha is an actress and does do red carpet stuff when promoting a film.
All 3 of the above relationships have known components of things Nick has always stated are on his list of what he wants in his future life partnership. What he seeks is very much a reality for these people so IMO although Nick's journey appears long and unsuccessful to date, it is attainable and worth moving forward alone because when "she" does appear he will fully be able to give and she will be equally as giving.
JMO She will want him because of who he is as a person. Her person to softly cherish as he will her.

Hey all! I've been doing way more lurking than posting recently but still waving my Nickchick flag with pride! I just got to say I love the way this man operates and navigates his life after being on the show. He just absorbs whatever is happening, reflects on it, then works to move on and live his life as he sees fit. I finally got to listen to his podcast with Ben and Ashley and he just continues to impress me with his way of handling the circumstances of his life after what the show and break up. He doesn't try to put up a brave front or act like he is totally a-ok and his life is just amazing but he also doesn't shoot up "woe is me, pity me" flares. Can't wait to see him in the projects he has been working, that we only know about through the SM of others.
