“You said you are different than former Bachelor Nick Viall because you were more open to the process. How have you evolved since the last time you were on TV?
I said that about Nick, but everyone takes their journey in their own way. I might have misspoke there, because I can’t really relate to what he was feeling in that moment. I’m just looking at it from a viewer’s perspective, which knowing now after watching that first episode, that was probably something I shouldn’t really have commented on. Everyone has their own journey. Everyone handles relationships in a completely different way, but that doesn’t mean that he felt less......”

Previously Arie had said he and Nick were nothing alike but was before they met at Elan’s book signing.

I like their camaraderie and that they have a similar sense of humor and don't take themselves so seriously it's so great. I noticed in one interview Arie did where he was talking about meeting Nick and that he thought it was really cool that Nick had posted the poem that he believes in him (I get the feeling Nick reached out and offered support to him knowing what it's like to be the last min pick for lead and also F2 before is something they share). Arie also said Nick is "a really cool dude" in that same interview and Nick has said that Arie did a really great job as lead. It's nice to see that support from one lead to another where they have a good understanding and similar use of humor too

@notarose I ffwded to the end (~1:16:00) and Nick responding to the listeners' emails (the one that you posted a SC of above) and wow, Nick's answer was so awesome   I can totally see how Nick is an awesome friend (as his friends have said countless times) and keeps it 100 and real. Nick's answer was just incredible. SO GOOD!

He really is great with his answers. I always find myself in-line with his thought and breaking points process, not always with all the decisions, but that's why he keeps being interesting to me. And he gave some pretty sound advice, I hope the girl got it.

Yessssd, so excited i can watch Nick plus the new Bachelor stuff all at tge same time. I am thrilled Nick is still happy to take part in Bach reviews and podcasts & Bach related stuff. Obv he may also be under contract to do so, but he is by far my favourite person to give a good critique on any shows. Love listening to his commentary, always detailed and insightful analysis. I hvnt caught up but will listen & watch this eve, always a day later for me.
And as you say @AllAboutlove Nick & Arie share a similar off beat sense of humour. Its great they met and hopefully can become friends as they hang out more. Elan was a big Arie supporter and I always (rightly or wrongly) think he is a good barometer of people & obv being great friends with Nick.
Another to add to the Nick appreciation converts.

Wouldn’t it be great if today this woman is celebrating her ability to the cut the cord .  No more making excuses to try to justify his actions.
