Flowers from weddings, bar/bat mitvahs and other festivities often will donate the flowers post festivity to nursing homes, hospices etc at least here in USA. It is a very wonderful gesture.

Basically all of the funeral homes around here take the flowers from funerals to the local nursing homes. We sent quite a few when my father died 2 years ago. They have been doing that for many years.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made sure Princess Diana's memory was kept alive in their official wedding portraits, by posing on the same green sofa which was also used at Harry's christening at Windsor Castle in 1984.

The Rebel Duke married twice and both times his wife was not given the title of Duchess of Sussex.

How cool is that Meghan is now the first Duchess of Sussex.

I could read about Royal traditions all day long.

This is the sentence that caught my eye in that article:

Sussex is a county on the south coast of England, home to beach resorts, historic towns and picturesque landscapes.

What a way to include Meghan's past as she is from southern California than by giving them a title for a county on the coast which includes beaches.

I am in Sussex right now - and it is a beautiful, green part of the country in Southern England. There has been footage here today of the Duke and Duchess at their first official function as a married couple - a garden party to honor Prince Charle's birthday. They both did really well.
