Since there are only 4 epi's, we'll have one thread for the topic of contestants rather than creating individual threads for each contestant. Should there be a popular contestant after the show is complete, we can always create a General Discussion thread for them.

I like Dean and Lesley together. I've followed Lesley since Sean's season, and I've liked her sense of adventure, intelligence, and courage. I think she brings out the best in Dean from what I've seen so far on the show, previews, and social media. I know that Dean didn't do well on BIP, but I really liked him on the Bachelorette. From the few interviews they have been on together plus the epi 1, IMO theirs’ is a case of two people who are very similar bonding. They are both proactive when something negative comes their way. They are both outwardly affectionate. I’ve listened to Dean’s podcast on occasion and when he is speaking with expert guests his vocabulary goes way up which speaks to his ability to be very articulate which is something Lesley clearly is. I think they are both introspective. Prior to Bette, Dean had done some extensive international travel so they have travel as a shared passion.
Dean has said he is poor planner and likes a woman who can willingly fill that void so that difference actually works for both.
It’s cute to see them playful and excited together. So unlike the heavy tone of BIP.

I agree with your comments, notarose. I had forgotten that Dean had travelled extensively in the past. I'd imagine that he'd like to travel with Lesley and even help her with some of her photography. I love following her blog - maybe he'll be in some of the pictures now!

It’s the reporter that says Jordan found love, not Jordan himself, however he does seem to have connected with someone on a deeper level than on his own season so it might be the start of something that could progress post-season or he could be talking about being more vulnerable in general and learning from that.

“I did get the experience I hoped for on the show and the highlight was being emotionally mature, vulnerable and allowing someone to connect with me on that level,” he told ET.

I enjoyed Jordan and Bibi’s interaction more than when she was with Kevin. It was more relaxed and flirty IMO.
I’m also wondering about Josiah and Ally. They seem to be on the margin of the storyboard.

I watched some video of Kevin and the girl he was as engaged to from the show in Canada. What a lovely woman! I didn’t watch the show but she seemed impressive. Ashley seems miles behind her maturity wise. I had to cringe when Ashley said she could see getting engaged to Kevin “I can see him at the end of the aisle”. This was before their first date!!!! :thud

Not an Ashley fan. Too much drama and tears and chasing Jared the past few years. She's just tiresome. Seems insecure and says unkind words about other women frequently on camera. Hopefully we'll soon get an end to her time on Bachelor Nation regardless of how things go with Kevin.
