Bachelor 22 - Arie Luyendyk Jr - Episodes - Feb 19th - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Well I choose not to believe them nor take their side because I don't know them or their character. Are they saying things to make him look bad and themselves look good (most likely), what is their agenda, why come out now. I can't just believe something just because a stranger says it and I see no proof. I'm not seeing Arie with this bad behavior.

Do we know Arie? Isn't he a stranger as well? He just happens to be on tv so people may feel they know him.

It is one thing if one person comes out with a story, but when you have multiple people having the same basic story...that has been heard for years...then it is clear it is a pattern. Why should they come out earlier? He wasn't on a tv show saying he is looking for a wife and a mother for his kids. Now he is and here they are. It was the same when he was on Emily's season. His reputation was out there then, just as it is now. He just has 5 more years of exes now that can share their stories.

At this point, I have a lot better idea about Arie's personality than I do any of those other women. I would expect nothing less then Arie to call them personally to say he was engaged. I don't think Arie is insensitive, calculating or anything else. I think sometimes he uses poor judgement, just like any other man, but he's not a bad person.

No I don't know Arie but I get a glimpse of him, these other women I don't know them from a can of paint except Courtney( and there you have it). Why say anything, keep it to yourself and move on. But seems to me from what I read one of them probably was hoping to get back together with him ( which probably is her problem). A group can lie...it doesn't much imagination to come up with he's a cheater and yada, yada. There are two people in a relationship, so that's two different stories and I haven't heard Arie's. Like someone else has stated Arie is 36 and getting older, he knows if and when he's ready to settle down....heck even a player get tired of playing.

Who saying he's a bad person?  I don't dislike the guy.  I think he'd be a fun, entertaining friend.  I just don't think he makes the best choices nor has the best track record in relationships.  I wouldn't want to date him nor want him to date anyone I know, if they're looking for a serious relationship.

I had hoped he was but the switch makes me think he was not, even though he thought he was.  

I don't want him to stay with someone he doesn't like/love but when he's been known to juggle and jump from one to another so his past is relavent and could be used to figure out why he did what he did, IMO.

Oh, I think a lot of people have accused Arie of a lot of things.  Most of those things based on rumor and hearsay.  I just don't think he's a bad person.  I think it's okay for him to date several women.  Why wouldn't he.  He was single.  He's a simple man, he really is.  I guess I'm just tired of seeing him raked over the coals.   And guess what,  gasp... I don't care about Becca.   I don't even care about Lauren for that matter.  I just see a man (imo) seriously trying to do the best that he can in his position, and mostly, failing miserably.  I'm not going to crucify him for that.

Oh please. We're not crucifying him or raking him over the coals. He's not getting any more snark and criticism than most leads get on here.

We have not seen who was crying. At least I have not. So it may or may not be Becca.

That’s what I wondered, too.  Have they shown it’s Becca crying? I wouldn’t be surprised if TPTB laid in a “stock” crying track from any season.

He's getting it no worse than any other lead, and even if he was its perfectly acceptable and allowed if he is.  It's within forum rules.  

And all I know is no baddy's past from here on out should be a problem, if Arie's isn't one.  And some in the past should be apologized to.
