I rewatched the kissing contest and the Fantasy Date while reading. Funny how their routine was something she winged after they realized that whatever they had planned would fail (since soft porn was in, anything entertaining was out). I wish I knew what it was.

Her comments on how she felt during the date made it even more rewarding to watch.
I love her view on the fantasy suite. By translating the card to “You guys wanna bang on national TV or what? -Chris Harrison” she peels off all the fluff and hypocrisy and shows that “The Emperor has no clothes”.
About that time I NZ when she didn’t know what a fantasy date was until she was handed the card, she said she wasn’t sure if she did a good job explain herself, but I felt so much the opposite when I watched that I had to write it down. She said “The intimacy that two people share when they care about each other and they are by themselves, that’s not something that I want to give out lightly in a situation like this where I could be leaving in a few days. It’s like, you can have all of this if it’s just me.”
Perfect IMO. She was right about looking like she would have a stroke though.

I love the way she writes with all those drastic metaphors (the clean child in a candy store, the freshly blow-dried sheep etc.). She has a voice of her own. You can actually hear her speak the words when you read them. A little proofreading would have been good, but I guess she was eager to finally get it out.

A few points:
They are able to stay in the US because they were given a 1 yr visa that specifically states they can work but only in entertainment. If they don’t have enough work by December they will have to leave.
They refuse to shill saying give you money to hungry children. They admit to not having much money and jk about setting up a go-fund-me account to support their stay
They may be going on an RV trip to Japan. Will soon post vid of their short San Fran trip on YouTube.
They aren’t living together because they don’t feel they know each other well enough yet and want to be stronger as a couple before doing so.  Also said that once filming ended they decided to proceed like any RL couple meaning taking time.
They were asked about the 11 yr age difference and said it was no problem.

Love their attitude. And, the fact that they didn't move in together immediately but are taking their time getting to know each other. Following both of them on IG it is nice to see that they both have other interests and don't have to spend all of their time together.

Courtney appears to have done quite a bit of work lately as he documents it in IG stories. Hope they both can continue to work. I selfishly want them to stay in the US! I love seeing their point of view on my country.

Happy six month anniversary to these two crazy kids! They are in Sidney for Lily’s mother’s wedding.
So, December 15 is their day. That’s a day or two after the filming ended IIRC.

To me, it's fascinating to observe how different the cultures are. Watching the American version where people seem to speed up and everything is so fast-paced, I really find it refreshing to watch the Aussies (and New Zealanders) and the vast difference in their approach and mentality towards the premise of the show. It doesn't matter where you meet your loved one but how you decide to take things from there. IMO they have a very healthy attitude which makes me a fan.
