So let me explain to you why it's a really unexpected and some kind of an unorthodox choice for a Bachelor.
Rozhden is actually quite popular in Ukraine and Russia. He is singer, music producer and songwriter. He gained popularity when he took part in the Ukrainian version of "The Voice".
Why is it an unusual choice? Well he is not that type of guy who is doing things or making choices just to please the others. That guy has guts and character. He is doing what he thinks is good for him and he don`t give a damn what the others think about it. He has individuality and he is unpredictable in his decisions. He is not that typical polished, good looking guy who is going to be a puppet. And for the life of me I still can`t understand how they got him to do it. That is going to be one hell of an wild ride.

It´s going to be really interesting because Rozhden is different. Of course I am going to fill you in. As usual I am gonna try to translate all the important things you wants to know.
@Idleness I hope so too. He is definitely someone who stays true to himself and that is a good start I think.

Guys believe me it's not going to be the typical bubble gum story this season. I am actually still in shock and don't get it how they convinced him to be the Bachelor. They have brainwashed him or something because that guy has depth and he hates superficiality. He is sharp-witted, brutally honest and smart.
I think the producers are going to sweat bullets with him. He is going to turn the tables because he is that type of guy who is saying we either do it my way or we are not going to do it at all.
Just a taste of what you can expect. He was doing an interview and the reporter asked him about his name. The question was who gave him that unsual name. And he simply answered dry well the parents usually naming their children. And the reporter like yeah I know but was it your father or your mother and is there a story behind that. And he answered I don't know I actually never bothered to ask them that and I think it's really unimportant to talk about it now
I mean now imagine what that is going to be of a season. I think it's going to be an very unexpected ride. We are about to witness something historical with him.

@LeapofFaith: Yeah, right?! He is going to be a breath of fresh air. He is a kind and respectful guy not arrogant or something he just don't like to pretend being someone he is not. He is calling things by their name without to fear the consequences. But he is very intelligent and has also a really unique sense of humour, that sharp witted sense of humour and not every person is capable to pick that up.
