I was also thinking of couples that formed without meeting on tv - from different seasons like Paige/Chris and Elizabeth/Ty and DeAnna meeting Stephen through his brother. A network.

I think you are spot on @notarose . Its so amusing to me to realize the successful couples formed by the spin off shows (BP/BIP) are actually already surpassed the main show (Ette/Bach).
Holly-Blake from BP,  Marcus-Lacy (once upon a time ), Jade-Tanner, Carly-Evan are all married. Raven-Adam and Tay-Derek are still together.

My main concern is of the men cast though.....it seems the pool as not as big the women. If i were to guess, the women applicant pool maybe as large as 4-5 times than the men. Hence why they do have to channel sport agents - as in Colton and Clay case, and modelling agencies: Jordan, Leo, etc.

Somehow the "innocence" as the premise of this show (here for the right reasons) has been lost down the road. IMO

So true! We often hear of men being approached by recruiters but rarely does that apply to women. There seem to be long lines of women wanting to be on the show.
Perhaps it’s a gender difference. A lot of teen girls think and talk about weddings - dresses and bridesmaids and that fairytale. Guys, not so much. The show is about a big romantic love story. Guys are more prone to just want to meet someone to be with and if a wedding is in the works they most often want the woman to take charge. That draw to apply for the fairytale aspect more often than not isn’t a factor for guys. Plus I don’t recall ever hearing male friends complain that their girlfriends aren’t very romantic.  Of course there are exceptions but I do believe the fairytale scale tips female.

and to think that Leo last longer than well-rounded sweet Ryan, John, Nick, David even a normal Grocery Joe whom being ditched on night 1..LOL  AND did get the 1:1 date with all the kissing and grabbing..its Ewww all around  for me. Why not giving the valuable single date to a casually normal cast?.. Ugh.. i feel so mad rn *end of my rant*

That being said, i can never really quit this trashy show. #Help

Per your bolded, one can only wish. It might be the best storyline yet.

I warned one of my non-spoiled friends to avoid certain sm sites because the G news was all over the place.  Without knowing who it was, she said, "oh God, I hope he's not a serial killer".  My thought was don't give them any ideas.  

I read that Millsy commented on the number of guys this season with "real jobs" like it's a thing. .
I do appreciate that but am sad it was remarkable. I realize it is less likely a guy with a good job will get/take time off for this show vs a woman who might be more interested in trying to arrange a vacay so as to do so. Rachel and Andi (I hate saying that in the same breath) were both high power attorneys. I still think tptb may not be trying hard enough. This show has been successful for years without much innovation. They probably have no incentive to work harder on it. However, I do hope they get the need for better background checks.

Okay, this is totally not gonna happen. But seeing Becca going to visit Joe the Grocer got me thinking. I think she should take a time out from G. Put the ring on hold. Go visit some of her other guys to see if there is a spark IRL. If tptb wanted, they could let her blog the whole thing, make a segment for ATFR and then let there be some suspense. Does she still want G after re-evaluating his situation and re-meeting some of her guys or does she (and hopefully) one of those not chosen at F1 decide to give it a try.

One reason I can’t see this happening is Becca would see this as too similar as to what she had been through last season. Jmo

I think her Instagram post on Monday and her comments this past week are indicative to her commitment to Garrett. I don't think seeing Joe -the throw away from night 1- is going to ignite this desire to seek out the 27 other men.

I think she’s all in on Garrett. Don’t think it’s fair for the other guys at this point, as I think we’re going to see her want Garrett all season. The other guys deserve to be someone’s first choice.

I can’t picture Becca doing that. I think she made her choice and that’s it. She seems pretty decisive. She would look bad if she pulled a mesnick too after Arie got so much heat for doing that. Don't think she would put Garrett through that knowing how it feels. There’s no harm in quickly meeting up with someone you had no feelings for that you sent home night one. It’s like meeting up with a friend.

I love Becca and Joe as buddies! Let's see her set him up with one of her friends!!!

I think that’s the plan. He’s getting tons of attention for a guy let go night 1. He had a big intro package but had little time with Becca as a night 1 eliminee. Former cast have said 15 minutes tops.  It’s like he was cast for someone else to meet on BIP.
