I think you are right!!! If you look at Fleiss previous posts he does differentiate between when he is tagging Bachelor & Bachelorette as to which show he is talking about. So maybe they did select Mike as Bachelor because that would certainly warrant a "Boom" first man of color as Bachelor.

Peter hasn't posted on IG since 6 days ago, other than an IG story 24 hrs ago for his brother's what looks like new job.

ETA Last person he is following on IG is Clay Harbor. Something to watch out for since sometimes they follow someone from production shortly after talks.

Can a new Lead set some criteria of what they want ? Example : knowing what happened with Hannah , ask for better screening etc?

I didn’t think they have very much power aspecially this early on the process. We’ve heard many lead say they had to negotiate and depending on what their own dealbreakers are, they choose their battles so to speak.
Editing and screening are probably not something they can win but they can ask, it’s depends on what their storyline will be also.
