Amen. My prayer for Jed is that he has repented TRULY turned away from this kind of behavior.

I agree with the substance of your message here. But how do you control love? I mean the realization that the person in front of you gives you butterflies and all this emotion that makes you feel on cloud 9 each time you see or touch this person? IMO it is easy on paper to judge but the reality is way different.

I think Hannah came into this show with preconceived notions of the type of man she wanted (Luke and Jed) and never fully opened herself up to the other possibilities. That's on her. That's why I've felt watching the show back could change things for her even outside of seeing Jed's deception. I think she stereotyped Tyler very early on as a dumb jock who's super hot and she has great chemistry with. Now watching the show back and paying attention to who he's shown himself to be in real life, she can finally see him. He reads books that weren't just assigned reading in school, people are drawn to him, he goes to church (not just when his lies are blowing up in his face), he's passionate about giving back, he's great with kids, he defends her always, etc. I'm not saying she's gonna fall in love with him, but I hope now she can say nice things about him that are unrelated to his looks.

Yes, to the bolded. YESSSSSSSS!!!!

How do we know that Jed doesn’t go to church every Sunday ?

Are you reading my mind?  laugh out loud.  bestbud!  I was going to ask the same question.  I try to attend church every Sunday, but I don't feel the need to broadcast it on SM.

Who knows what Hannah had in his mind. We can guess and assume many things, we can rationalize many decisions too. She may have decided from the start that she wanted a southern man, close to her home.  But IMO and I posted this a while back, she felt comfortable with southern men. She knows them, she was raised with them.

I was surprised that at episode 8, she still did not know anything about Tyler childhood... which for me is a sign that they never truly had a serious conversation. Same with Peter. However, she never felt frustrated with Jed because their 2 dates were just walking and talking and sharing. Major difference.

note: some prefer to go  to church on Saturdays because they have no choice (where I live, priest rotate from church to church).

right now I like very much this bible verse:

Matthew 7:5 wrote:Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Changing the subject...

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I was really disappointed with the date Hannah had with Tyler, because they totally butchered that horse date!  Bachelorette 15 - Hannah Brown - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #2 - Page 74 1f625 As someone who has rode horses growing up, I saw so many moments that just made me cringe. Lets see ~ they mounted the horses from the wrong side, their heels were not down (maybe need to adjust stirrups), holding the reins wrong - too tight. At one point Hannah was pulling the reins back, while kicking the horse to go forward, sending completely wrong messages to the horse. I'm also part Swedish and I would never touch pickled herring! Was she trying to punish him in someway? Just had to mention this...

I don't know much about horse riding but I agree that the daytime part of the date was edited strangely. I feel like all of the good parts were taken out and only the awkward parts were left. But the night time part of the date showed a really nice, building connection between the two of them. I liked how when Tyler shared his parents' experience, Hannah jumped right in with her own experiences about her parents.

It felt like a really genuine conversation, which I haven't heard too many of this season. When he said "my dad came from nothing" and she jumped in with "mine too" really fast, I felt like they were very connected and actually have more in common regarding their backgrounds and upbringing than I originally thought.

I think they’re in their respective home bases rn but I do think she seems to want to try again with him, even though it blows my mind. He’s nothing like the man she envisioned for herself and she followed through and actually chose that guy in the end, ofc he was scum of the earth but I’m surprised she wouldn’t just look for the real deal jed next time instead of wanting Tyler. He’s nothing like the good ole boy southern man archetype she wanted imo and she’s only seemingly into him now when jed has shown his true colors.

It’ll be so interesting to see if anything comes of this. I’m expecting all 3 to go their own ways after afr but Tyler and Hannah to be friendly.

I knew he was my favorite from when he was announced and then when I saw his intro, I was hooked. To my surprise, he’s even better in real life. But I digress...if they don’t get together, my hope is that Hannah can look at Tyler and see what a man is supposed to be and how a man is supposed to treat her. She hasn’t had luck with guys in the past and this experience hasn’t proven to be the best for her either. I know she’s young but where we come from, at 24 you’re already married with a baby. It’s just natural in the south. I hope she can slow down and take a deep breath and just realize she’s worth more than what she has always stood for in the past. She’s a Queen and she can be Tyler’s Queen if they want it.

Sorry I have to disagree with you I am also from the south and your statements about how southern woman are not right. Women from the south are not married and pregnant by the age of 24 . Most women are waiting till their late twenties to get married.

That’s your opinion as my statement that I made is based off of what I have seen and grown up in all my life.  Most of the women I know are married in their early to mid twenties. I am the exception. Not all women are married with children at that age, as that would be preposterous, but in my experience and from what I know, most southern women tend to marry in their mid twenties or right out of college. Sorry if you disagree, but I don’t like being called wrong over such silly matters.

Sorry that I did not put IMO on my post which I should of . I just have seen you post the same thing in other post and I just disagree. JMO

Well, in her defense, the good ol’ southern boy she’s always gone for hasn’t worked out for her too well. I’m thinking she has seen the error of her ways and has realized what she needed and wanted was right under her nose the whole time, but I could be wrong. I could just be wanting him for myself giggling

Let me add, that not ALL good ol’ southern boys are bad. They are actually some of the best men you’ll ever find if you can grab one up. IMO of course.

I always think back to Des and Chris’ proposal. The girl was in tears talking to Chris about how she had been blinded the whole time by what she thought she wanted, but the thing she really needed the whole time was right in front of her. It was beautiful and I actually got teary eyed watching it laugh out loud

I see a similar situation here. At the very least, why not give it a shot?

I said the same thing a few pages back. That was not a F1 date IMHO. They got horses, Tyler IMHO probably mentioned in his casting process he's afraid of horses and voila. They have done that many times in the past. They then left them to fend for themselves. The part about the fish was gross.

ETA: @Ash2214 IA that is one of my favourite proposal's. A moment of true reflection and honesty.

I think we have to see how she ended things with Tyler. Also I have met folks that didn’t end up with their typical types but have successful relationships with the understanding that no relationship is perfect. Time will tell for Hannah & Tyler but I am of the opinion that they will figure out what’s best for them.

I don’t think I have posted that women in the south get married young because we have never talked about that before to my knowledge, but ok. I have probably talked about southern culture quiet a bit because it’s basically all I know and I feel like I connect with Hannah in a lot of ways because of it.
