Married At First Sight - Season 10

I wish Derek would dump Katie ... she’s acting like a spoiled brat and he deserves better.

Meka is a rant/rave contestant on a game show version of a marriage. Every word out of her mouth is her talking to production, due to production. Everything about Michael's behavior is him reacting to the filming process, in terror for how he will be portrayed, and making many poor PR Choices for himself throughout.

Except for the one real couple, every couple is earning a paycheck (basically) - tethered to the contract to be filmed - doing anything BUT being married to a person for real - by financial penalty clauses, threats, etc.

This season is insufferable as television "entertainment." Adding in goofy sound tracks to try to make the awkward Apple Picking/Picnic, golf cart, Turtle snatching ( I was appalled actually ), couple "adventures" seem playful or ironic is the absolute worst,

I didn't think the casting/matching imbalance could be any worse than that New York season, or any number of others, but this (local to me) season takes the prize for WORST EVER.

So glad this season is almost over! I just need Austin and Jessica to stay married. I'm sure eventually she can handle his work traveling. She works late hours anyways. @jlccaz agree with all of your comments!

Yep, I don't like her either. (I was once in a serious romantic relationship with a high school psychologist and he really sucked as a boyfriend.)

While I agree with a lot of what Meeka says to Michael, I find my self saying two things to the tv almost all the time she is on screen. "Come up for air." and "Stop with the speeches" and have a conversation. She goes on and on and on and on.

But at least it appeared that he was speaking directly to Pastor Cal instead of his usual habit of talking to a wall or the ceiling. He even had his eyes opened. That's a big improvement from his behavior throughout this season. Not that I am defending him in any way since he has always kinda creeped me out.

CA scheduling is 5:00-7:00 pm. I plan to be there as my husband's dinner is in the slow-cooker from which he will serve himself. (He's very cooperative and understanding with my love of some reality TV shows.)

Austin finally said it! He loves Jess and they both want to stay married. Yay!
