yes, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all from the U.S. - I think Whitney has some serious emotional problems that didn't get caught in the screening process so, I don't think they'd take that chance and after seeing the show, what kind of guys would apply?

Whitney is so freakin messed up, if she was the 'ette, it would be called 50 Shades of Sybil.

I didnt watch the Bach Canada since im in the usa but just saw the proposal and WOW. How was he as the bach compared to the american ones? Because just from the proposal he seemed alot more sincere. It really touched me to see him in tears and reading how they are doing now. And also was this season romantic?

I tend to think he was more open and honest than the other bachelors. If he wasn't into a girl, he cut her but did it with respect. He was extremely respectful of all the girls and that's one of the reasons I liked him as the lead - he never lead anyone on any more than you would have to in a show like this. The outtakes showed and def. goofy side of him and they showed he and Bianka laughing together more than I ever remember seeing any other couple do so. As for romantic - the show was much shorter than the U.S. version so they had limited time and needed to show the relationships building - some romance but not over the top

He stated in an interview that he got to pick the dates and I think he chose them to see who he was and was not compatible with. No romantic dinners really but a lot of physical activities where you would have to more or less work together to get to the end. I missed the dates in France so it's possible there was more romance there. Even the fantasy dates were pretty low key - they went kayaking on one and lobster fishing on another. Not a lot of hot tubs being shown.

LOL How right you are. : ) I don't think I could watch another season of Whit, to be honest.

He stated in an interview that he got to pick the dates and I think he chose them to see who he was and was not compatible with. I missed the dates in France so it's possible there was more romance there. Even the fantasy dates were pretty low key - they went kayaking on one and lobster fishing on another. Not a lot of hot tubs being shown.

The episode in Paris was basically just strolling in Montremarte with Bianca and walking around the Eiffle Tower with Laura B. With Bianca they went to a cafe for a meal and took a carriage ride. It was nice, but basically touristy things most people do while on holiday there. One of the other differences that we noticed along the lines of a lack of hot tubs, was that Brad did not really do a lot of making out like some of the US Bachelors.

Overall, the season was romantic in the sense that it seems to have resulted in a successful couple. It was not as over the top as the US Bachelor and therefore, a more realistic version of dating under the constraints of the show. He also admitted to telling her in advance that she was going to be the one because he didn't want her to be stressed out, but then she said she saw him crying and thought he may have changed his mind.

The other difference was there wasn't the manufactured drama/crazy by the producers. Gabby had some good lines and of course there was Whitney, but generally the ladies were pretty tame. He seemed to have more potential matches than MF usually casts for the lead.

It was an enjoyable season and if you get the chance to watch it...particularly the last episode...I would recommend it.
