Fire fire fire! After the LA fire, now new wild fire started in San Diego County this morning. It's far from where I live but with this very windy and extremely dry weather, brush fire can start anywhere anytime in Southern California. I already start to think what to pack. Pray for weather relief, safety for all, especially our brave fire fighters

The fire situation is crazy. I have lots of family in the LA vicinity and called yesterday. They are safe as of today. Prayers to all.

How fortunate we all are to have the brave firefighters, police, medics etc who willingly go and help where ever they can. Prayers to all to be safe under those terrible conditions as well as every where else in our communities.
The images are heartbreaking. I just can't imagine. I hope no lives are lost, humans and animals.

To all those that celebrate, Merry Christmas Eve.
May the spirit of Christmas bring you all joy, peace and good health. I hope you can enjoy the holiday season with family and friends. It's suppose to be a season of sharing and giving. I hope we can instill this in our hearts all year round.
For those travelling, be safe. Especially the Toronto region, it sounds like it's your turn to get a lot of snow.
To those that may be alone, I hope our forum and the many threads we have, can bring some love your way.

Thoughts are going out to all from California. After our summer from hell here, I have a renewed appreciation for all that are going through it. We still have 2 families not in their homes as the homes were lost to the fires, but they are rebuilding in the spring. In the meantime, family is there for them all and all is getting back to some normalacy....or at least the new version of it.
Thoughts out to all that are going through the fire season there and may all be ok.
