I'm looking forward to seeing Shawn on the show. I like his looks but want to see if I like his personality.

Me too bean. By the looks of his IG he seems like a nice outgoing guy.

I have to say that I'm a bit surprised by how Shawn seemed to have fallen behind Ben and Chris, on this forum. In the beginning it appeared as if he'd be everyone's early favorite, but that didn't happen somehow.

He was definitely strong out of the gate 

For me, I now need to see him on the show to get a better sense of him.  It is not necessarily a red flag to quit your job before joining in but that always leads me to question motives; things like possible desire to be next TB  more so than others or just hoping to cash in on opportunities.  It causes me to hesitate because it could be just the right time in his life to switch careers and he could be great.  We'll know soon.

I don't really see the problem with quitting his job. Most companies won't let you take an indefinite number of weeks off.

I think it was said he wants to start up his own fitness centre.  
Going on the show before starting his own business makes sense.

Has he resurfaced at all recently? I'm totally stuck on Kait letting him give her a piggyback ride in front of the audience and the other guys.

IMO he is an attractive guy, but I am partial to that coloring.

He seemed sincere in the 1 second clip of him in the previews- he seemed honest in thinking Kaitlyn is the best fit for him.

I do feel a bit bad for him as I do with all F2's (if he is indeed F2). He didn't seem like a mean guy so we'll have to see.
