As far as I know he doesn't have a snap chat account. I was thinking about that earlier, if he gets one that would be an indication to me

He would probably keep it private though, if his main reason was following Kaitlyn. So he might have one already and we don't even know it.

I tried to search a Nick snap chat but not even sure you can search it that way. Seems like you need to know the username first. I got a snapchat to try and follow Brooks on it as he likes to do stories on it but keep forgetting I have it so still not use to it.

This is definitely possible, of course. But it would be interesting to me and within Nick's character (particularly with his experience on the show) to ask for assurances late in the game. Whether or not F3 is after the FD, I'm assuming it's before MTP... and again, I can see him wanting to know he's the only one before he asks her dad for permission. I don't have strong feelings about this... just a possibility in response to AL's spoilers...
