It's been 1 year now since Art and Matty met on TBNZ since filming started Jan 15! It is still one of my favorite M&Gs with Art bowled over by Matty, literally falling and tripping over himself around her and she got the FIR! Love at first sight with these two.

They have only been together for a year and the first part was with lots of media intrusion! They are young and have plenty of time to settle down.

I never expected an engagement this past year and wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens for a least six months or even longer. Remember Matty is only 25.

I believe that the pressure to get engaged and married contributes to the failure rate of most of the US Bach couples. IMO this is a much better way to go and a longer "courting" period is actually pretty standard in NZ.
