Haha ^ That chin!!! Gotta love it. Sam really really has been using Richie for all kinds of decoy ways since before the show began. I just hope Richie gets some sort of reward for all that. Next Bach please?

@AllAboutLove, it's usually the case after the one-on-one dates that they get more support from the public. It'll be interesting to see next week with Sasha's single date.

This has nothing to do with it, imo.
1) It's that F&W are doing a video that is about Richie's SD and not anyone else's and audiences are thus seeing Sam watch herself with Richie and... .
2) Mostly, it also ties into the fact that Bach Aussie just ended and people were expecting an obvious F1 (Heather) and it didn't happen and so this time the audience is expecting a F1 who is a dark-horse (Richie). It's just simple to me.

Just to clarify, I think Sasha is F1 for sure. But I can see why audiences will doubt that since he was obvious from the start and they had that experience with Heather and so now they are prepped to not think it is Sasha. It's not a case of who is F1 for me, it's a case of how is the media going to spin it this time around b/c for Sam Wood's season the media was #TeamSnez (who was F1 but hidden compared to Heather) and now the media is promoting Richie for F1 and #TeamRichie (who is hidden compared to Sasha who is F1, imo). It's just simple strategy and will only be exaggerated b/c Bach Aussie and Bette Aussie ended and started straight after each other. It has nothing to do with "love story" or anything like that. Just simple storyboarding and edit and audience feeding into it, imo.

haha. @Sundy I had my husband watch Richie's SD yesterday and he said, how is that guy not F1? I was like, "I know. Right?!!!" Hubby said that was like watching a love story movie. I said, "I know. Right?!" Hubby was like, how can that girl act and say those things to him and be so natural with Richie and have these epiphanies while she is with Richie but not realize that the person you get epiphanies with... who makes you see more of yourself and understand yourself more is the one? I was like, "I know. Right?!"

Is Richie the pleasant surprise, why is Sasha getting a second date (she can't wait to see him or is questioning whether the chemistry can develop into love?). Will Michael get a single date? Why is Richie so quiet on Social media? Why are the boys going to Huskisson to spend the weekend with Sasha? Is the woman at the casino who met Sasha and Dave telling the truth? Arghhhhh! If you could get your husband to answer all these questions we could work this one out.

My hubby is usually right about genuine guys. He has a pretty fantastic BS-detector in real life and is someone cheers for the underdog and those less fortunate. He's been that way his whole life and his birthday even states that his life is all about that -- people who are genuine and supporting them mentoring them. He's someone who inspires me every day. (I'm a lucky fish!).

As for F1? Hubby reassured me 100% that Art was the real deal and Matilda was the one. With Heather, he said Sam Wood was acting and that Heather would not be F1. With Richie he says based on what I've told him about Sasha's SM and the edit (2nd single date), etc, that he thinks Sasha is F1 and that Richie's SM strikes him as a guy who was heartbroken. :/ (He still thinks that how Sam was with Richie on that date was very real and they are very well-suited. No surprise since that is a common sentiment.)

SINGLE DATE TIME

Sam meets with Richie and they get makeovers to make them look 50 years older. This is actually the most perfect date.

Richie is funny. And gorgeous. And in touch with his feelings. And genuine. And any other adjective you can use to describe someone who’s perfect.

How is this guy still single?!

The pair go about pretending it is their 50th anniversary and decide to play bingo. Some old lady tries to steal Richie from Sam, telling him: “I’m younger than your wife.” Sam comes back enraged and starts flailing her walking stick at the woman. CAT FIGHT!

“Samantha and Richard” go back to being their 26-30 year old selves and Sam plays Richie a heartfelt message from his mum and sister.

The pair bond and Sam goes in for potentially the best kiss of the season. Both are super smitten and happy [insert floating love hearts].
