I'm just trying to imagine either of my 20 something sons going clothes shopping with me. That hasn't happened since middle school when I made them.

I think Josh never did BIP not because of the show's premise but because of him not getting Bach Lead and so not wanting to be on ABCs show BIP since he didn't get what he wanted.

I also think he didn't want to be an F1 who went on BIP. Has an F1 ever been on BIP? If not, then more a pride thing, IMO, to be seen on a show related to one he had been on.

So not getting Bach lead, being F1, and likely not wanting to be on Bach related show where the cast and producers are the same, etc, rather than the show itself are most likely his reason, IMO, rather than the show's format/premise.

Because the show he is now on is pretty much the same BIP thing in a way but different network/TPTB.

I think Josh did not go on BIP because he thought he would get the Bachelor gig.  Not gonna happen.  Now Josh is available for a lesser show.

I can't possibly agree more with this, that is how strongly I support your post, Alanna. I would advise my girls to R-U-N as fast as they could. I wouldn't care if they had their best Jimmy Choo's on or their oldest most, worn pair of CL's. RUN RUN RUN.

Or Jen Schefft who was a really popular f1 although not nearly as much when lead. I don't think Josh was really in the mix for lead although he seems to have wanted to be.

I think he wanted to be the lead and thought he had fan support because of the people tweeting him asking him to be the bachelor. He probably got a maximum of a few hundred tweets but about 5 million people watch the show every week so he really didn't have that much support. The support he had was only good for his ego but not enough to convince producers to make him the bachelor.

I agree we can only speculate by pulling a comment here & there but it is very clear that those who personally know them think the world of them and talk about what a wonderful, giving, God loving family they are. Not perfect, but a good family. Whereas I appreciated his mothers humor regarding taking applications, others took it differently. That's what makes the world go round but I do believe those who actually know them are the best indicators of who they are and their relationships with one another as opposed to speculation.

Speculation is sometimes 100% right, just saying.

As for saying that those who know them are the best idicators of who they are, I don't agree with that. It's obvious that friends of the Murray family would say good things about them. Thats why they're called friends. I'd hope my friends wouldn't tell the world that I'm a terrible person and I guess it's the same for the Murray's friends. (I'm not saying they're terrible people. If Josh's mother is as controlling as I think she is, I just don't think her friends would say that).

How can you say that those who know them think the world of them? There are people who dislike them as well but they block anyone who has anything negative to say about them. I don't care what Josh says or does on that show. The fact that he agreed to do it says alot about who he really is and I hope people finally see him for who he is.

To correct something that was posted upthread, Josh did not post any photos or snapchats of him with Samantha. She has done the posting,, on IG, Twitter and her snapchat. Looks like there must have bedn some Bach Alumni together ladt night since Josh did post a snapchat of him with Patrick and Andrew and captioned it saying he loved reunions. No mention of Sam in any of his posts but he obviously met her out last night too. She's advertising that though, not him. And I seriously doubt tgey are now suddenly dating. More likely they just hung out like many other bach alymni do when they run into each other in the same town. I don't see in any way how that makes Josh a bad person or bad friend (to Nick P).
