@Jeepers I have no idea who this is.

@Jeepers Oh, OK. Thanks.

I have copied this info and moved it to the appropriate thread. Please continue any further info there as this thread is for former leads/contestants.

Go to the link for the full story. It gets worse. Such a waste of money imo. You can be frugal and fashionable imo.

I spent $4,000 to be on 'The Bachelor,' and I got sent home the first night
I was on season 26 of "The Bachelor," and Clayton Echard sent me home on night one.
Even though I was barely on the show, I still spent about $4,000 packing and preparing for it.
I came prepared with multiple dresses, plenty of makeup, and TV-ready hair.
Here's a breakdown of what I bought and how much it cost:
For my grand entrance, I wore a blue Sandra gown by Dress the Population, which I purchased from Lord & Taylor for $200. To complete the outfit, I bought a pair of white lace-up heels by the Black designer Kendall Miles for $400.

While I didn't get to wear anything else on TV, I also bought and packed:

Red illegal halter gown from Revolve: $220
Pink Elle Woods-inspired pantsuit from Revolve: $400
Emerald-green mermaid-cut gown from Alamour the Label: $420
Hot-pink Reno dress from Abyss by Abby: $350
Red off-the-shoulder Allure gown from Revolve: $320

I found this article that talks about the clothes. Who in the world spent $40,000? I do recall someone quite a while ago saying she got loaners from a local store.

@albean99 I believe that was Jillian who got loaned clothes and I remember she had such cute clothes.

I did not know this?

Even though Fetman has the star bring a suitcase of their own pieces, a round of shopping happens before production begins. "In the end, each Bachelorette leaves with a nice, new wardrobe," he's revealed.

How can anyone spend $40K on a wardrobe, let alone $350,000 +. I'm living in such a minimalist world! laugh out loud

When Emily Maynard was The Bachelorette, ABC allotted $350,000 for her wardrobe (a figure which Fetman said they still went over).
