Isn't Ben make it fairly obvious at this stage he's in love with Lauren more than other girls ? Just IMO, when a guy cries over her girl it means he love you as much as he does.

Ben really missed Lauren and was happy to see her... When he first saw her... "I finally get to see you!"

I honestly can't ever remember a Bachelor getting this emotional to any family. It was endearing! And the way he broke down to his (hopefully) future FIL? Lauren's dad was like- how are you handling this? And Ben's "not well..it's really hard" + tears ... It just felt real, like Ben was already using (future) FIL as a sounding board and for comfort- like a parental figure.

Ben hasn't ITM'd about Lauren hardly at all. It doesn't matter. How he feels about this woman is plain as day. It's written all over his face and voice. He's in deeeeeep! Seriously, we HAVE seen Bachelorettes get this attached, but in my memory I don't really remember a Bachelor acting this gaga. Brad with Emily- maybe, but that was so one sided, I never felt like it could really work. And Ben with Courtney, maybe-- but that was Ben and Courtney, so ew. That one also never felt like it could have a real shot.
