Just a few thoughts, before the premiere...

I have a vague recollection that Chris H gave an interview before the farmer's season (I know he gave the interview, I just can't remember the timing of it.). In that interview, CH stated that the show had more or less revamped itself. I took it to mean that, in this day of SM and spoilers, the production team challenged itself to find a way to make this show work.

Well, if I've got the timing right, it might be interesting to note that in every season since, the F1 has been pretty obvious coming out of the chute -- Whitney, Shawn, Lauren B. The doubt for the viewer was created by the F2 being made a strong candidate mid season by the editors...and the F1 seeming to fad a little...or at least their obstacle was presented in a way that brought in doubt.

So, this might be a working theory to keep in mind as we see the season unfold.

Older seasons hid the f1 in ep 1 like Catharine, Chris etc. where their ep1 interactions were barely shown. more recent seasons they have been showing the alone time with the lead in Ep1.
ETA Basically they switch things around at times.

Very good points. I plan on paying attention to the edit, which is what I usually enjoy, plus I also enjoy analyzing the body language and facial expressions of the lead/contestants themselves. Sometimes the eyes tell the story.

This is not a spoiler at all but Jojo is extremely expressive. And she uses her hands a lot, waving them around, touching her face etc.

We should be able to tell exactly what she is thinking haha. I love an expressive lead.

So I'm in the process of making caps and just came across this. WTH??? What on earth kind of date is this??? Clearly, something I'm unfamiliar with!

It looks like a carnival type street dancing date. Imo.
Typical of South American countries like Brazil.

Oh, okay. That makes sense. My first thought was that they went to Burning Man...

@nd4reality Any particular reason you think it's Brazil? I know Italy has those types of festivals, I've been to them.

Ive seen those dancing girls at shows here, they come in and do a routine for 15 minutes or so. Clearly wherever Jojo is, it's routine.

My friend went for the carnival to Brazil a few years back so Imsaw pictures of half naked dancing girls right on the street. With head gear etc. like that.
Of course the carnival happened prior to filming but I guess any country that performs that sort of dancing/costumes would qualify, not just Brazil. But this is more likely a South American latino place rather than Europe.

Policia -- that's Spanish, right? This might help with a location.
