You dont have to climb the whole thing.  But just to get to base camp takes about 8 or 9 days.

It is a challange and a great feeling.  My hubby did base camp about 6 years ago. It was on his bucket list.

I bet Nick is gonna do it.

That would be amazing. My parents also did the base camp as it was also on my dad's bucket list and they both felt a huge sense of accomplishment afterwards. I guess the only thing that makes me question whether or not Nick would be interested in doing it was his answer to one of the questions in the Instagram live: randomly, someone asked "mountains or the beach?" and Nick said "the beach, for sure"--almost as if he didn't really seem to have a strong interest in mountains. Of course, just because he says that he prefers the beach over mountains, does not mean that he wouldn't be interested in climbing mount Everest. Plus, Nick did say in a recent interview that he enjoys hiking as a way of staying active. I guess we'll probably find out soon enough but either way, I'm excited for him.

Wow, how exciting for you! I am happy for you! Tell him he has a good loyal group of NickChicks who have rooted for him since his first appearance on Andi’s season! Maybe one day you can invite him over
