Same, but it does give us the chance to do more old fashioned sleuthing. This season is being billed as a "back to basics" one for the show, so we might as well kick it 2013 style too

Not much of an update but Samantha has confirmed they're still looking for a Lead, and filming won't start till next month at the earliest.  The fact that this interview took place on 2GB though does not fill me with hope that the casting department is seeking to recruit progressive, open minded people

@GuardianAngel Yes it's a Sydney radio station owned by Nine.  Extremely conservative, racist, anti-immigrant, anti-Indigenous, transphobic, climate-change-denying, culture-war-baiting, flaming hot garbage, IMO.

Alan Jones, one of their longest-serving hosts, was recently charged with multiple indecent assault offenses against 9 men. His behaviour was allegedly known and overlooked by management for literally decades.

Personally, if I were seeking a decent bloke to cast for my dating show, 2GB is the last place I would be advertising.

@Bobette that's disgusting. We are hearing this a lot in the last few years. It's just getting worse imho.
