People magazine has reported that season 16 will premiere on Monday May 18th, 2020.

I know travelling is going to cause some issues, but CH is co hosting Nic Wallenda's tightrope walk across a volcano in Nicaragua. He had a short interview with someone who sounded like a marketing person, telling him about the beautiful beaches and the beauty of Nicaragua. I wonder if that's a possibility this season as a destination.

Do we have any sense of what day filming will start? Also will the guys who were clear tonight to meet Clare on the finale of Pete’s season already be private on IG?

Filming starts Friday, March 13, per RS.

I'm not sure I understand the bold?

I wouldn't be surprised if they introduce guys on the finale tonight since they have done that the past few seasons. I have not read anything confirming that they will be introducing some of the contestants.

@GuardianAngel Sorry I was dictating.  What I meant to ask is, assuming Clare meets a few contestants tonight, would those contestants be private on IG now based on previous seasons?  How long before filming starts do contestants generally become private on IG?

LA Times today reports that Gov. Newsom has ok'd filming to resume in CA beginning next week. LA county will be ok'd a "few weeks later". This is hopeful news. The mansion, I believe is in Ventura county which has opened more quickly and if LA can resume within a few weeks, we may still be on for Clare's season...although it will be interesting to see where and how. I haven't yet checked to see if there is anything from tptb about this.

Tptb are clearly focused on the next Bachelor. Me too.

Anyone think that they could possibly film in Florida?
