Well that was great! I really enjoyed that. Glad that Ryan got a rose.

I enjoyed the show as well. The cast is really cute. I love how they clapped when someone got a date or when Chris H. appeared the night of the rose ceremony. I also loved it when most were clueless about the date card. They have an almost innocent quality about the Bachelor process that is refreshing.

I really took to Ryan. He was my favorite. He has a lovely voice as well. The date at Capitol Records was perfection. Trevor is very good looking, but it looks like trouble is brewing for next week.

The editing looked good to me. I know that the show's editors must have been working under very trying circumstances. But you would never know it. I liked the music integration, and thought it worked well. It reminded me of a party where you have friends that are musical, and someone sits down at the piano or picks up a guitar, and people start singing. It had an organic feel to it.

Peter's season struck me as being over-produced, but this first show seemed to have a lighter touch which I appreciated.

@Amethyst IA I also like the music aspect of it. It was cute to see them leave during the RC and wait for the next couple to come out.

I didn’t pay close attention but did like the show. My favorite part is the music. I liked Bri the best of the ladies, very chill. My least favorite was the one who whined so much about the date she didn’t get. I’m not sure about the guys yet.

@albean99 Rudi. Her behaviour was the closest to expected normal bachelor franchise script that I saw throughout the whole show.

She gave him mixed signals in the hot tub and claims he told her he would take her on the date. I don't recall him specifically saying that, I was multitasking at times but even so, it's a dating show. Anything can change. All it takes is one unreasonable outburst like that for me to not care about the contestant.

(RATINGS UPDATE): People suspected with nothing else on, “Listen To Your Heart” would do well with viewers. It didn’t. 2.9 million watched and a .6 rating. What’s worse is 3.2 million watched the first hour and only 2.9 million the second hour. So viewers bolted.

To compare, a “Bachelor” season usually averages 6.5-7 million viewers a week with around a 1.6-1.8 rating. Bachelorette usually in the 5.5-6 million viewers and a 1.3-1.5 rating. This also drew worse numbers than any BIP season or the lone season of Winter Games.

I was watching some real life drama/mysteries on various cable channels instead. Need to get a forensic show fix once in awhile. Last night was it.

My daughters and I enjoyed the show. A bit of a fresh take with less drama. Definitely some producer influence but good.

@HavaDrPepper I didn’t watch it either and was just partly following the drama along with Tyler’s tweets, which were quite savage with reminiscing Jed PTSD !
