About the Show Online Radio
The hit live-competition series BATTLE OF THE BLADES (Season 6, 1x120, 6x60), features NHL, Olympic and professional hockey players who will perform on ice with World and Olympic figure skating partners in the hopes of winning the Season 6 championship, and a $100,000 donation to the charity of their choice. This is the first time in the series’ history that three female hockey players, and three male figure skaters, have been part of the competition.

I'd love to watch but wonder if I can see it in the US.

@Norcalgal It's a great show. I went to a couple of live tapings, for a couple of the previous seasons, so much fun.

Seeing hockey players on figure skates and how hard they work to get their routines right is amazing. I'm glad this season they have three female hockey players teamed up with male figure skaters.

So far each season it has been all male hockey players with female figure skaters.

Andrew Poje is a Canadian ice dancer. With partner Kaitlyn Weaver, he is a three-time World medalist, a two-time Four Continents champion, a two-time Grand Prix Final champion, and a three-time Canadian national champion

Akim Aliu is a Nigerian born Canadian-Ukranian professional ice hockey who is a spokesperson to address intolerance and racism in hockey, and Vanessa James is a French-Canadian former competitive pair skater. With her skating partner, Morgan Ciprès, she is the 2019 European Champion, the 2018 World bronze medalist, the 2017 European bronze medalist, the 2018 Grand Prix Final champion and a six-time French national champion
