At this point I'm not in favor of a pile-on for either Rachael or Chris. But the show as a whole has got to use this as a learning opportunity and do better moving forward.
IMO the show isn’t vetting for racism because they’re looking to include it. Producers & SL writers were likely pretty excited when Matt took interest in Rachael. They aren’t interested in celebrating diversity, rather they’re interested in exploitation. Again, all IMO.

@jojo47 I agree. I would need Rachael’s previous Twitter account and deleted IG posts and accounts she followed to be fully restored before I could believe that nothing of her racist actions/beliefs was there and the show therefore was unaware of her views. I think they were well aware and thrilled to cast someone as stunning and demure as Rachael (with racist views) for Matt to fall in love with. All IMO

What kind of contract would Rachel have with Rachel? A certain number of cameo appearances over a course of years?

She has a podcast with Becca and is under contract for that. I'm sure she could care less about appearances.

Not sure what type of contract Rachel has, but evidently it will end soon.
It was announced last May that Rachel was working with 20th Century Fox (subsidiary of Walt Disney) to host and co-produce Judge Rachel's Court. It's scheduled to debut September 2021. From a timing standpoint, it's not surprising that Rachel would focus on the new endeavor IMO.
