@GuardianAngel It was their one year anniversary. The video from the vineyard was first published by Cassie on Aug 13, 2020, and it turns out that it was their first date.


Unfortunately, this was sleuthed on Reddit at the time, and I think it was what really drove Colton over the edge. God forbid that the girl he had used as “beard” for almost two years would move on to someone else.
I’m so glad she is free of him now, and thriving.

They are both young and seem to be really sweet together. I'm glad she appears to be totally herself enjoying life, as she and everyone should imo.

I'm glad to see Cassie out enjoying life. Hopefully she will be able to put the Colton mess behind her.

I feel sorry for her. She's trying to move on and this subject constantly comes up dragging her into it.

What is really disappointing here is to read comments under some Instagram posts. The majority that I've seen was about Cassie knowing what she was getting into, how Colton deserves to tell his side of the story, and how his show has nothing to do with her. The lack of empathy here is absolutely staggering and I can't comprehend how he still gets so much support in spite of being such a toxic human being. IMO

Cassie didn't know she was getting into this, especially the stalking. You don't give up all your rights because you go on the Bachelor.

This part of the rather crappy Page Six article is at least a little uplifting:

However, a second source told us that most of the women of Season 23 are “unequivocally Team Cassie.”
 
“The collective attitude among the girls of Season 23 is that they’re happy for Colton but are more concerned about Cassie in this situation,” the insider elaborated.
 
“There is concern among Bachelor Nation about how Colton’s show is going to make her feel. They want her to feel supported as it plays out.”

Let’s hope that more of them speak up this time, if needed.

I also hope that Cassie won’t feel pressured to give interviews, when she has clearly shown that she wants to put this traumatic experience behind her.

IA not only contestants from her season as well as more men and women in general.

IMO he used her from day one. He accepted the bachelor role knowing he was gay but did so to keep up the façade that he wasn't. He stalked her, imagine how scary that was for her, and now he wrote a book. I don't care if he gets rich or not, he's going to make some money and that's just wrong. IMO he's still stalking her by putting this book out there because of course he knows it will affect her emotionally. Some SM users don't seem to have a problem with people who deceive lie or break the law. I have said it before, he needs professional help and I hope he realizes that one day soon.

Yes he is entitled to tell his side of the story but I can imagine if Cassie told her side of the story what that would entail. She's too gracious to play that game.
