I really think the older someone gets, and is still single, the more selective they are JMHO at that's why he is still single.

Agreed totally! I'm not single but if I found myself single again my list of dealbreakers is way longer now than it was the last time I was single. You don't know and can't know what truly irritates you, bugs you, and disagree with until you've got life experience imo.

I know some amazing single people in their 40s and older and they'd be a great catch, and they'd marry if they found the right person, but they're not desperate to find just anyone and they're just not willing to compromise their lifestyles for anyone less than perfect (and I don't mean perfect like a Barbie doll, I mean perfect as in a perfect fit for their life).

As the old saying goes, been there, done that. There are some things that I would absolutely not compromise on.

Is it sad that I want him to make it far even be F1 when 1) the show hasn’t started filming and 2) Clare makes the decisions, not me.

@sandileekeller I'm with you. I've got my one/two, everyone else is just MOT.

I like him at this point and hope he doesn’t disappoint. I’d like to see a good old 40s movie style flirty romance!
