Lmao, at least he owned what he said and I still don’t get why Chris made a big deal of it. Sharlene on Dear Shandy said 100% a producer is around for those debriefs post the SD card being read and they asked Nayte his opinion as to how he was feeling about not getting a SD yet…. so he just didn’t throw that out unsolicited, Chris just wanted to be messy for airtime  IMO.

There’s a video on TikTok of naytes scenes so far and in the comments a girl is claiming that Nayte was still dating her friend 2 weeks before he left for filming and apparently the girl is going to come out with proof

I also looked through the commenters Instagram and found the girl that she’s referring to and Nayte follows her but she does not follow him anymore

IF this is true, I think context is key. If he dumped her and blindsided her to go on the show, then that's not a good look. If it was just casual and obviously not going anywhere, then it's hard to find something wrong with it, especially when there's contestants seeing people right up until they leave for the show. I'm not counting on seeing this "proof" though .

I honestly do not believe it was a serious relationship especially because Nayte’s friends/family seem to all support him being on the show and I don’t think they would if he was in a relationship before going on.

I'd rather it be two weeks, instead of the night before he left.

Seriously, I don't think it was a very serious relationship either. He still follow's her so I'm thinking it was very casual dating jmo's. IIRC he unfollowed quite a few people when he resurfaced. I would think she would be the first to unfollow if there were issues.

ETA: I wonder now, if he'll unfollow now.

I think I found the friend & if I’m right about who it is, the friend moved to Texas mid June, Nayte left for filming end of July. I doubt it was a real relationship. Jmo.
