@leavers Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the outfits are terrible!  Incredibly unflattering colours and designs.  Worst season yet for styling IMO.  This bothered me too - wilting pot plants dangling into shot.  Are TPTB so used to fake plants they don't realise real ones need watering???  Put some of that unused fairy light budget towards a watering can or pay a gardener to look after them FFS!

Felix - yeah.  I expect he was the easiest for TPTB to work with (Jed's a bit erratic/emotional and Thomas reserved/wooden) but I forsee a lot of girls jumping ship to one of the other Leads as his true colours emerge. That line from next episode got me - "I love a threesome but not with my wife".  Classic use and abuse random women but then expect the one you marry to be pure and obedient.  GAH!

@Bobettethanks for the play by play complete with s/caps!! Couple of questions, who's religion were you referring too and did they explain why Ella left?

@leavers great post. IA the fashion is atrocious! That's one of the things I usually enjoy but it's been horrible to look at.

@GuardianAngel Jed is very religious.  We had already worked that out pre-season as he was putting out a weekly podcast which was all about scripture etc.  

I wasn't sure if they were going to mention it on the show but it was the second thing he talked about in his intro package (after drumming ) so they're not hiding it which is good as I imagine it could be a deal breaker or deal maker depending on one's stance (assuming this info was also shared with the contestants of course)

Ella left because Felix was pashing Tilly and she couldn't handle it.  You would think by now these girls would know what the show entails but apparently not...

@Bobette I remember the sleuthing about Religion but couldn't remember who.

I liked the format of the first epi. I thought the mini dates were much more entertaining to watch than the typical quick limo entrances and cocktail party convos. It worked with multiple leads.
