If he just needed to hide out and wait for the show to be over, he could’ve gone back to Jupiter or Miami. He made a move to a city he’s never lived in. It screams I had my heart broken and I’m chasing my dreams then you add the running which he said he does to deal with stress.

Tyler is a working model. NYC is #1 in this country for jobs. It would not make sense for him to go back to Jupiter at the height of his popularity. IMO and professionally.

Good observation.
This shouldn’t be a surprise though.
There are MANY people who see through the edit.

They also believe that Luke has the right to be who he is and believe what he wants to. Whether they agree with him or not. Hating somebody because you disagree with them is foolishness.

The  guys in the house didn’t like him because he was their number #1 threat to winning Hannah’s heart. They shaded him whenever they could, and he reacted in defence to that.
Obviously, not always with wisdom.
Obviously, he was a fish out of water.
Obviously outside of his own normal comfort zones.
Viewers should be reminded though, that his own comfort zones are normal, comfort zones to VERY many people, as evidenced by the Twitter, Instagram followings you mentioned.
He is not in a minority in his viewpoints about sex and relationships.

People view things differently.
This is normal and should be respected.

What I can’t figure out is that people think it’s fine to blame and accuse Luke for his “nasty behaviour’ of ‘sl*t-shaming, judging,” etc. and then THESE very same people, become VERY judgmental themselves and do the VERY same thing they accuse him of, by THEIR  highly judgmental comments about him.

Do people not hear themselves and their own hypocrisy?

Especially, when they really don’t even know him and are judging him, yes JUDGING him, based upon a highly edited TV show...?

All imo.

Yes yes yes
IMO also. Very wise post.

SO..... don’t think so...JMO

Everything she said about Tyler so far is physical related and she admitted that Tyler was {#}1{/#} top of her list... heck why she had cold feet at FS dinner. If she shut the door to Tyler and if he is the one in the windmill, then no surprise she didn’t want him if she wanted Jed at the end. Public may forgive one passion moment but deliberately invite him again, then that screams sex addict to everyone to see Smiley from Millan.Net

Yeah yeah she can walk naked and give her body with everyone she wants... her choice indeed.

This season is the best ever. EVER!!!!

I am not convinced this is the relationship he was referring to in home towns.  I am at work so will read it all later.

If December isn’t soon enough to break up when is?  She always s would have been hurt.   Also we need to hold the women to the same standards but we haven’t been.

It's just a hot mess all the way around and I love it!

Peter broke up with his girlfriend b/c he wanted something else...to be on The Bachelorette. Fine. She obviously wasn't the girl for him. Still fine. But two things stick out in the article:

1) Girlfriend obviously thought they were exclusive and now she's getting lots of reports that Peter was cheating on her. NOT GOOD.

2) Girlfriend thought they were exclusive (see #1 above) and he was reaffirming that belief b/c he wanted her to move out, made plans for New Years Eve and Costa Rica trip in March. Only to find out when his picture was released for the show that he was being courted by the Bachelorette behind her back while simultaneously talking about their theoretical future (house, children, etc...)  NOT GOOD.

Then his social media clean-up -- pretty smart IMO but also pretty calculated (Jed should've taken notes). Again, Peter wanted The Bachelorette more than he wanted her. Fine. But be upfront about it ... I mean at least Jed told Haley.

Be honest and communicate better. That's it.

There really is no better communication than a break-up. He's sounding pretty upfront to me and she is sounding a little bit dense. She was a GIRLFRIEND trying to behave like she had a lifetime commitment when clearly she did not. It was seven months ago. He broke up with you. Done. Blow your nose. Fix your makeup. You're not famous. Grow up and move on. All IMO.

IMO, Luke was #1 for a looonnng time. That's why the other guys were so frustrated and also why he was such a jackazz. He knew it, tptb knew it (which is why they kept putting him back in her face) and the other guys did too. Don't ask me to explain why because he makes my skin crawl, just watch her behavior whenever she talks about him, defends him and cancels cocktail parties because she is hearing things she doesn't like about him from the others.
Jed, IMO was always #2. That's why she told him and him only, she was falling in love with him and even moreso, that's why even though his family practically each broke their backs waving, wearing, eating, singing RED FLAGS ---- Hannah totally ignored them.
If Peter is WM guy and he was always #4 ---- you interpret that however you like.

Hi. Even if you believe in your “ranking,” which I personally do not... Hannah said herself she was “right there” with all of her final men. They kept fluctuating, depending who she was with. That’s probably actually how it is for a lot of leads, in this artificial environment building connections with people with limited time and information. I don’t think it’s unreasonable AT ALL that once in the real world, watching all of this back and gaining clarity on the entire situation, she realized, and realized pretty fast imo, that Tyler was her guy. JMO.

Of course I believe in my ranking, it's MY ranking and I don't need your concurrence because it clearly says, IMO.

I interpret it as Hannah wanting to sleep with Peter in a windmill, and not having anything to do with any ranking? A lot of women can separate sex from love.

I would.  I wasn’t on here back then.  But there will be more conversations in this case because Hannah chose to explic

People keep saying this but she’s on a show looking to find a husband not love island or mtv’s are you the one?.  Her screwing Peter just because doesn’t really fit the program she’s on.  JMO

I think that "testing the merchandise" is fairly important when trying to find a husband?

But you said you don’t think Hannah wanted to do anything other than have sex in a windmill with Peter?  That Peter was purely physical?  That means he wasn’t in contention to be her husband?  So why does she need to test his merchandise?  Having sex with Peter wouldn’t build an emotional connection with him.  It would be sex just to do it.

Because she didn't know where her head was at the time and wanted to be sure? We can see this looking back that her connection with Peter was solely physical but Hannah had to go through the process herself in order to discover it.

I also just can't see us having the same conversation about Ben Higgins, another Christian, who most likely had sex with his top 3 as well.

Ok.  I thought you were saying she knew at the time she just wanted to have sex with Peter.  Misunderstanding on my part.

I would but can’t speak for others re Ben.  Also did Ben explicitly state who he had sex with and where?  We wouldn’t be having this discussion if Hannah had chosen to de discrete, like I’m sure Ben and other did, because we wouldn’t know what she did.  There’s no way Hannah didn’t know we would be having this discussion, when she said what she said to Luke, so why can’t we have it.  She invited it.

I personally think we're having this discussion because society views women and sex differently than it views men and sex. Perhaps for good reason, as there are more serious consequences of sex for women - pregnancy. But that said, Hannah is being held to a different standard than any Bachelor would be who had sex with multiple contestants. JMO.
