All right, lets talk some “Bachelor in Paradise” season 6 now. Immediately lets get to three tweets I posted towards the end of last week and on the weekend which are immediate spoilers:

(BIP EXCLUSIVE SPOILER): Filming wrapped yesterday. Here’s at least one engagement I can confirm happened. Demi got engaged to her girlfriend Kristian Haggerty. Not surprised by that since the whole thing was pre-planned and ABC will milk their first same sex couple forever.

(BIP SPOILER): Whitney Fransway (Nicks season) went to Chris & Krystal’s wedding & met Connor. They hit it off. Connor is on the show waiting for Whitney to join. She never does, so he leaves. Whitney finally comes on, but Connor isn’t there. So she leaves & they’re together now.

Lets break down all three:

1) Yeah, so the second Demi’s gf Kristian Haggerty (not part of Bachelor Nation) came on the show and they were allowed to stay, I figured they were heading towards this ending. What other possible reason can be given for why someone who America doesn’t even know would be allowed to stay on the show? 2 reasons: 1) Because it’s their first same sex couple this franchise has ever had and 2) Because they can exploit it by having them get engaged. Just weeks before going on Paradise, Demi was on a podcast saying she wasn’t ready to be engaged. Then after 2 weeks she was? Ok. Look, I’m fine with Demi being bisexual and having a girlfriend. Good for her. Just the way she went about this whole thing, pre-planning with production, etc., I’m sorry, it just loses sincerity for me and feeds the notion that Demi is all about Demi. She wants attention on her as much as possible. Production is just as guilty as anyone since they allow it, but make no mistake, Demi knew what she was doing heading into the show, brought her girlfriend on so she could specifically come out on national television, and then gets engaged? I just find this whole thing very exploitative and ABC will no doubt pound their chest until the end of time promoting the hell out of the fact they have their first same sex couple.

2) Caelynn is someone who went on podcasts and did interviews post Colton’s season talking about how she was looking for a good Christian guy. And now, she ends up leaving with Dean, a known playboy in this franchise, someone who self-admittedly has a hard time committing, and within the last year had no problem telling anyone who’ll listen that every Bachelor Nation relationship is fake. Not to mention, for those who have no idea, Dean doesn’t have a home. He currently lives out of his van and just drifts around basically. His van is his home. Ok. This relationship totally seems realistic. This’ll work.

3) So let me explain this one in more than 280 characters. By the way, isn’t it amazing that when Twitter changed from 140 to 280 characters everyone flipped out saying it was too much? Now, can you even imagine only having 140 characters to make a tweet? Neither can I. Anyway, so there were certain contestants who were already filming in Paradise that were allowed to attend Chris and Krystal’s wedding. I don’t think the whole cast did, but just selected ones. Connor was already on the show at that point, and I think Dean had already come back to take Caelynn away. Anyway, Whitney Fransway (Nick’s season) was in attendance at the wedding even though, as far as my knowledge, she had zero allegiance or friendship with Chris or Krystal. So Connor and Whitney started talking at the wedding and hit it off. Connor goes back filming Paradise thinking Whitney will be brought on at some point. She wasn’t, so Connor eliminates himself since Whitney didn’t come on. Whitney ends up being brought on the show shortly after Connor leaves, sees he’s not there, and eliminates herself to after Connor. And now they’re together post-show.

I’m still trying to gather all the information about how the show ended outside of Demi’s engagement. Pretty sure I know who the final couples were and if they decided to go to the fantasy suite or not, just trying to get details behind everything. So with that said, I’ll give you the spoilers for the first 2 episodes of Paradise this season. Here is the original cast:

Some other drama that happened before this rose ceremony involved Annaliese. Because she is friends with Angela, Clay’s ex-girlfriend, she wasn’t happy Clay was on the show and felt he broke up with Angela so he could do it. She confronted Clay with this.

Also, at the cocktail party before the rose ceremony, Annaliese told Chris he was the only guy she wanted to be with. Gee, shocker. Annaliese immediately clinging on to a guy? No way! Anyway, Chris was having none of that and didn’t want to be attached to someone so quickly, so, he didn’t give her a rose.

Women (9): Nicole, Sydney, Tayshia, Caelynn, Onyeka, Katie, Demi, Kristina, and Hannah G.

It’s during this episode that Blake tells Caelynn and Tayshia that he wants to pursue Hannah G. Hannah is already pretty close with Dylan at this point, so nothing ever comes of Blake & Hannah.

During the cocktail party of this episode, Christian and Nicole are off by themselves talking and he brought a pinata. Clay goes over to interrupt and basically Christian doesn’t let him. Clay goes back to the group, tells them what happened, and Jordan then goes over to talk to Christian. He’s about to rip the pinata from where it was hanging (basically to throw it in the ocean like last season’s teddy bear), but Christian grabs his arm, and Jordan body slams him to the ground. Security has to jump in and separate the two, and after a while, Chris Harrison says they both have to leave the show.

And this is why Luke should never have come to this show. His faith is {#}1{/#} priority. He lives, breaths is faith 24/7. He is surrendered by Christian friends and stepping out of this community was IMO a mistake for him.

I genuinely think that he is trying to follow the bible in the book. I was myself in such a Christian community. It was comforting, welcoming, yet intransigent, uncompromising, inflexible in many ways. But it was incredibly difficult to be the best of myself every minute of the day. I moved away and I cut the ties because of it.

So I understand a bit Luke. I understand how intransigent, uncompromising, inflexible he is because that is the only way he knows how to practice his faith. Therefore, everybody else will definitely do not understand him, find him crazy, over the top, whatever...

He should have stayed in his community IMO. This was not a place for him. I still believe he is not a villain and he needs to learn to be more flexible and compromising. But maybe his community has a heavy play in what he is on top of his personality. Just a gut feeling.

I go back and forth on whether TPTB would sanction a SHV (if desired between the two) prior to the finale, because the outcome of said meeting could, once again, drive the ending in a different direction. First, that meeting could be disastrous -- Hannah depressed and distraught, Tyler bitter and unhappy. Or, the meeting is lukewarm, feelings were lost and not rekindled. I think there are two options TPTB is working on and they are:

1) No SHV. Go all in on Hannah being single and choosing herself. Not a traditional happy couple ending but in light of this season, a happy ending for Hannah.

2) NO SHV. But DV (digital visits). Play it loose with an H&T reconciliation. Let them communicate (if they want) via digital channels and see what happens. Maybe there is a sweet, soft ending where Chris Harrison asks what's next and they respond, they are grabbing a drink after ATFR. Not quite a happy ending but a hint of possibility.

Thoughts?

I have been thinking along the lines of #2 as well. Let them communicate and get some of that on tape. They are going to do it regardless, one way or another, and pretty much have been doing with all the likes, etc. It builds up the tension for Hannah and Tyler. If they are interested, that is expressed and they have a touching reunion at the AFTR. If not, then they can go and set the stage for #1...and maybe lay the ground work for Tyler becoming the next beloved, very hot Bachelor.

At this stage, I don't think that it even matters which they pick. She got rid of loser #1 on the show with the one finger salute and will receive cheers for finally kicking him to the curb. Post show, she rids herself of loser #2 ASAP and he will probably be thrown under the bus even more than loser #1 to become the most hated man in America for taking advantage of sweet, forgiving Hannah...forget Brad, Jason and even Luke. Women will sympathize and cheer. Hannah Beast will have come full circle by standing up for herself and growing as an independent, strong woman who takes no prisoners.

Either way, tptb are winners. They get a shocking, never before seen ending. They can claim...look how real it all is …just like real life. We champion strong women, blah, blah, blah. Everyone hits the talk show circuit and milks it for all it's worth and live happily ever after...or at least till the next Bachelor rolls into town.

As long as "Everyone" does NOT include Jed.

Jed had twitter activities 5/2 after inactive for one month. I remember our queen of sm tracking @smg2587 posted about it too. Please verify, @smg2587!

That’s why some of us thought Jed was eliminated at f4. How do we explain him being active during filming? I think it was an private account so for him to accept a follower someone had to have access to Jed’s account. He had a manager? Family members?

My conspiracy theory #1: he was eliminated or left on his own then came back. Hannah’s being upset in that halter dress is about him, not about Luke.

My question: if the weather was horrible the day before, why did they go back to Crete, then go again to Santorini for MTP and FRC?
(I will talk later why I think MTP and FRC were in Santorini)

I think if she had time to see these people in real world (like she is right now, in real time), Tyler would have been her #1 for sure. It’s so clear that while he’s hot, he is so not that smooth player operator that she pegged him for. It’s heartbreaking that her actual “stand up/honest” guy literally turned out to be the biggest manipulator of all time. It’s a lot of pressure and probably unrealistic to expect to make the correct choice with like 4 dates and limited information, especially when you have a guy who is SO MANIPULATIVE and deceptive.

Hi. I can’t believe I’m here to argue about Jillian’s season but here we go:

1. Technically, and per the same arguments you use to support Jed, Ed cheating during filming, after filming, and throughout that following year in Chicago is all hearsay with no known facts. In fact, the only “evidence” we really ever got of him “cheating” was from when he self eliminated and was off the show. So it remains debatable if that would even count as cheating. Everything, literally everything after that is hearsay. I know. I followed that $hitshow closely. Did it happen? Maybe and probably. I’m not here to defend Ed Swiderski for anything. But it’s hearsay, to this day, and it’s kind of a double standard to grant Jed the complete benefit of doubt about intense post show behavior/rumors, while crucifying Ed for the same.

2. As has been stated many different times, Jed absolutely did not break up with his girlfriend before going on the show. This is factual and proven with texts.

3. These seasons are incredibly similar. Hilariously similar. And... that’s all I’m going to say about that.

Look, I do know what I was told....Jillian told it. My family and her are friends so....yep, facts!! You don't know what you are talking about with #1. I am going to say IMO, yet I was directly told what happened so definately not IMO but is FACT, unlike what's happening in this season with Jed.

Again, I know you are giving your opinion above so know you aren't using IMO or JMO. BUT I do know some facts as they came directly from Jillian so NO, there are no similiarities in these seasons!!

Bachelorette 15 - Jed Wyatt - Sleuthing Spoilers

Here are my observations on JED as a musician, pure and simple, from my personal and professional experience.

Attributes needed to have a SUCCESSFUL MUSIC career
1. TALENT
2. Dedication, time, time, time, passion or DRIVE ( Making it a priority )
3. The right support, personally and professionally
4. Code of Ethics ( some don’t consider this but I do.)
5. Exposure , at the right time and in the right way at the right place
6. Ability to deal with media, venues, fans, P.R., communication etc. OR ability to delegate to the proper people ( see # 3)
7. Likability factor, having people who care for you and what you do / share

Last but NOT least $$$ which is great when it’s NOT yours, right Jed!

In Jed’s case he can check some of these elements but NOT the 1st and pretty much indispensable one...TALENT.
He seems to have put ‘ some’ time, but I’m not sure as I don’t know his background enough. Going on The Bachelorette is a shortcu way to go WHEN you do not have what it takes.

6 is a fail for me now, based on reports that are too numerous to ignore
That’s is also debatable, seemed likable at first but now, his image will be tarnished and I’m not sure how he can float back to the surface after that.

As a singer: His voice is really annoying, ( tone) his pitch is lacking precision, he enunciates poorly, his voice is not trained, unoriginal, unmemorable, unpleasant
As a songwriter: lack of signature sound, no originality, poor lyrics, cliche rhyming, no storytelling, ( which is the #1 for any good country artist), no hook whatsoever in his songs, poor melody based on very basic chord structure.

Good luck to him. Actually, it will take MORE than luck ...and even with many IG followers, he will not gain respect in the music industry for what he does going like this.
There is a reason he has NOT been on any music show, he wouldn’t pass any audition at stage 1. Next.
